Such a beautiful story. You are a powerful mama! As a doula myself, i applaud your sticking with the 5-5-5 plan. So many women dont allow themselves that very important time to heal and rest. I tell all mamas your only job in the first weeks is to rest and feed that baby. God blessed you with a wise husband for giving you that very important time. The first 40 days deeply affect the next 40 years of your health!

I haaaaaate prodromal labor!! 😩😩 I’ve had weeks of it with both of my previous births. Twice, I had HARD contractions every 3 to 6 minutes for close to 7 hours, and then it totally died out. Sooo disappointing and exhausting! 😭 Due with my third in about a month, and so praying that I don’t have that this time around.

What a beautiful story! Did you consider maybe wearing a disposable diaper during labor so that you don't need to worry about leaking or peeing?
