Baking for 9 Hours Straight!! Bake All Day With Me

Join me in the kitchen today for a huge baking day!! We are baking bread, cookies and making granola bars, plus getting the kitchen all cleaned up at the end.

10-11 C. Flour

4 C. Butter

1 pkg. Instant Vanilla Pudding
4 tsp. Baking Soda

Hi I'm a Mennonite. I love cooking and baking for my family and friends and my husband's Amish family members. We have three daughters and one son. We are raising our daughters as Mennonite and raising our son as Amish. Our kids know that they are mennonite and Amish. I cook mennonite and Amish cooking and baking next week are our baking days when I fill up my big chest freezers with breads and dinner rolls and more. Then two weeks later when I make homemade freezer meals and breakfast and lunch and dinner meals to fill up my chest freezers.

Everything looks so good! A tip I’ve learned is to use a cookie scoop to put your filling in your whoopie pies. Just plop it on and press the top piece on… so fast and easy. Watching this almost makes me feel like baking! 😊

I just made your bread. Oh my, it is wonderful! I kept the dough on the softer side, and it turned out to honesty be the best sandwich bread. I cut the recipe in half, and it made 3 large loaves. I did not have soy lecithin, so i used an egg. I also used regular AP flour. This will be a treasured recipe. I put your name, Simply, Amy, on the recipe card. I lived close to an Amish store, and i loved their bread, but i have moved and can no longer get it. I have tried so many recipes to find the right one. I found it! Your recipe tastes exactly the same. Thank you so much! God bless

I have started making bread myself every week. I do it by hand because I don't have any fancy gadgets for it. I make four loaves at a time. I don't know how you have the stamina to do nine hours of baking. I am always exhausted after just four loaves of bread and maybe a batch of cookies.
