SubhanAllah this brother does one of the series on AMAU Junior and Allahuma Barik has such an amazing, gentle personality perfect for the children - I would have never imagined he came from such a background. How beautiful and perfect is Islam in correcting us. May Allah bless him and make all his efforts heavy on his scales. Ameen.

What a Wonderfull speaker, this story touched my heart subqannalah. May Allah reward him for his openness, a true testament of the mercy and guidance Allah. Gentle reminder please in future give guest an opportunity to tell their story without interruption and ask guided questions. The conversation would have flowed a lot better. Nonetheless it was a good episode

You see on line that some Muslims do not care, they have no problems always laughing and showing themselves they are eating when you have the Palestinians who are suffering and you well have some people who feels guilty that we are eating and lot of Palestinians are not and other people who have no food as well. It makes me sick were is the empathy and one ummah

SubhanAllah. When he said something about being pulled from different direction, it reminded me of something from the Quran that gave the example of falling and birds picking you apart.

33:29 Not completely disagreeing but I think what we need to understand is that every single parent will have their shortcomings and as children, we shouldn’t use that against them. No parent is perfect but trying ones definitely are. Mohammad Hoblos has a great video about the status of parents and no matter how bad a parent might be, you have to still honour, respect and obey them (of course with some exceptions). Also the brother on the podcast is so soft spoken and has so much Akhlaq, may Allah bless him. Just goes to show the beauty of Islam and how it can really transform a person for the best
@sadafahmed9563
@sadafahmed9563 5 ай бұрын
I disagree. You don't honour bad parents, no. Especially if they bought you to land of kufr and were abusive. Your children are your amanat and your flock and every parent will be asked about their flock! Abusive parents do exist and this issue does need to be addressed!

@@sadafahmed9563 I literally said with exceptions but even then, bad parents still deserved to be honoured and respected irrespective of your reservations towards them. Abuse endured by parents is completely wrong but we’re still taught to have sabr and treat them with kindness, that’s just the hand you’re dealt unfortunately and yes abusive parents will be held accountable for their actions too. My best friend was a revert and her mother was the most abusive person ive ever come across and yet still, she loved, honoured and respected her; as a result of the values Islam teaches. There is no greater strength than the one I witnessed from her, may Allah reward her. Point being, abuse doesn’t negate a parents rights on their children and similarly, the same goes for the rights of the children. Some parents will say and do things unknowingly and without understanding the repercussions their actions can have, in situations like that, compassion and understanding is key

@@sadafahmed9563I understand you and feel your pain but you well find ones like that person who don't understand and have no empathy as they never went through what you and I went through. My parents are kuffar and I am a revert Alhumduillah. You don't have a lot of born raised Muslims who understand that there are people who are abusive and they can be parents as well. Because most Muslims not talking about you ok, I see your side and understand Alhumduillah Allah blessed me with understanding and empathy and life experience. Most born raised Muslims can not put themselves in another person shoes as they never went through what that person went through they just see things through their selfish eyes. ALLAH GAVE AUTHORITY TO THE PARENTS NOT TO ABUSE THE KIDS AND ALLAH WELL TEST THAT AUTHORITY TO SEE IF THEY WELL TREAT THE KIDS IN A JUST ISLAMIC MANNER OR BE A EVIL PERSON UNJUST. THEY WELL BE ACCOUNTABLE WHAT THEY DID TO YOU ALHUMDUILLAH. I HATE TOXIC PEOPLE. THE SAME WHAT I SAID ABOUT THE PARENTS GOES TO THE HUSBAND, ALLAH GAVE THE HUSBAND AUTHORITY OVER THE WIFE AND ALLAH WELL TEST THE HUSBAND WITH THAT AUTHORITY TO SEE IF HE WOULD BE A JUST HUSBAND OR A DOG WHO HAS NO FEAR OF ALLAH AT ALL. OPPRESSION IN ISLAM IS ABSOLUTELY HARAM DONE BY PARENTS OR A HUSBAND TO THE WIFE. SAD WHEN YOU SEE KIDS NOT HAPPY BECAUSE THE PARENTS ARE ABUSIVE AND IT'S SAD WHEN A WOMAN IS MARRIED AND THE MARRIAGE HAS NO LOVE AND MERCY OR RESPECT IN IT AT ALL. SAD WHEN THE WOMAN IS IN A LOVELESS SAD MARRIAGE THERE IS A WAY OUT IF ALLAH WILLS.

@@sarahm8464 have patience with abuse is not from Islam. Listen if you never went through what that person went through you should Stay silent okay. May Allah give u empathy as I see most people lack in this ummah. There is no patience with a abusive parents or a husband, stop saying that ok this is why women are staying in marriages were they are getting beaten up by their husbands because of people like you. Abuse and oppression is not to have patience and put up with it and not speak out this not Islam. Oppression of all kinds has to be stopped it's a major sin in Islam stop putting your culture within Islam. I well not reply to you you showed me what you are through your comments.
@sarahm8464
@sarahm8464 5 ай бұрын
@@Mercy-l8b You’ve taken my comment completely out of context, I wasn’t talking about abusive marriages and the Shariah is pretty clear about the rights of someone in an unfortunate case like that. If someone is in an abusive marriage, they have every right to leave. Abuse within marriage is never tolerated. I was speaking strictly about respecting and honouring parents and I think it’s a little self righteous to assume that ive never experienced it, that’s completely irrelevant but the Islamic ruling still stands, you are to honour and respect your parents, abusive or not. Im also not trying to minimise feelings but people nowadays are way too soft and that’s probably why the west is struggling. In the east, abuse is pretty rife and yet im yet to see children as obedient over there than over here.

Most schools don't even let kids pray when in reality, there shouldn't be an issue with starting your maths lesson a bit later than asr instead of having to start the lesson at 3.30pm specifically. Glad this topic of homeschooling was mentioned and would like to see more videos on it In Sha Allah. Idk why it has become so normal for people to let strangers spend years teaching their kids for 8 hours a day, without much knowledge of the values of those teachers and whether they are upon sunnah. other kids and the influence of them/their upbringing is also scary - as this episode highlights. May Allah protect us all from evil
