Holy fuck the sound on this is unreal. The band is playing so freaking tightly too. Not a single mistake in this song and Jeff sounds absolutely great on vocals. Possessed has come up with some of the most interesting speedy riffs in death metal and Shadowcult is no exception.

Possessed fn rules.. if you really think about it, these guys started this kind of metal or at the least had a part in starting it.. also, they have paved the way for alot of thrash metal and death metal bands out there today.. look at their logo.. almost every single death metal or thrash metal band out there has taken something from that logo and that logo was drawn out wayy back in the day.. morbid angel took the devil tail.. death took the inverted cross.. and I can think of a shit ton of other bands that had a hand in that as well.. I'm not saying these bands just stole this bands shit but they definitely barrowed some shit.. just sayin.. great band.. hands down one of the best ever..

Lalonde was not even that important back then. Torrao was the mastermind behind Possessed.

@@Godan_Void yes of course he IS Possessed. But the sum of them four made the band so unique. Now it is just copying a sound that can't be copied. It is so sad that Torrao doesn't want to have to do anything with music anymore. But on the other hand I understand him I also do not want to reform my death metal band anymore because the other original members don't want to play anymore. I wouldn't do it without them it simply wouldn't be the same. In the beginning Becerra had the same opinion and spoke about "his brothers". How this guy has changed to the worse! If he would go just by his name or some other moniker the fans would still buy and support as crazy. As he did back then with Side Effect in 2002 or with Misery in 1989.
