Yeah countering enemy ranged isn't much of a problem, the Lizardmen are fantastic in every respect.

Arch Warhammer they need to make a new engine if their making a brand new game. The rome 2 engine is really bad. Bad unit collision , bad balancing , hidden stats and do I really need to go on. Also they need to make a new engine if want to include magic in which is really important in the warhammer fantasty world and the special rules of each nation. Would rather wait 2-3 years for a game well-made e.g shogun 2 then a rome 2

Lizardmen should have a hard time reinforcing their units due primarily to the spawning concept but also to bring in the function of low number, experienced units being leveled up to, eventually, hero or general level. Many Old-bloods and Scar veterans started out as single sauruses in larger units who lost their spawn broods. so in a other words, if enough sauruses die in a unit it might upgrade to some sort of hero-unit rather than disbanding but it also won't be able to regain lost troops. This wouldn't apply to Skinks of course.

They are planing 3 expansions and they will increase map size and add factions. Some info already leaked and in the first expansions there will be Lizardmen among some others. Additional races will also be added with DLCs

I like the idea of a empire explorer somehow managing to steal a plaque of the great plan that tells the lizard men to take over the world. Seeing this, the slaan order expansion. Gameplay wise, due to the lack of currency, I have two ideas. Make spawning constant or, my preferred idea, base the spawning of units on sacrifices. Food, however, should be a currency for upkeep and building(food for workers). The more powerful the unit, the more sacrifices of the subjugated population of captured regions and enemies captured in battle are required. However, as more sacrifices are made, income of food, decreases and civil unrest increases leading to more rebellions in your regions. Also spawning pools in the old world should be expensive to build and expensive to be upgraded so that kroxigores can be spawned. Essentially, will show that the LM are working with unified purpose, so do not need money, but require large amounts of food. It will also show how much the populations of humans hate the rule of who they see to be monsters.

If could expand on the use of the Troglodon. Since the Lizardmen use them like we would for bloodhounds, they should be given the ability to detect enemy hidden units. These guys may be blind, but their smell never lies.

i'm starting to want to see them revamp the experience gathering and recruiting aspect like you always have to recruit the lowest tier unit and as it grows in veterancy you can start specializing it or just strait upgrade it but keep the upkeep about the same adding equipment costs as they go for heavier armor or better weapons or you can keep the lower tier unit but have it get marginally better over time with the pretty chevrons instead of a retrain cost and just have the unit gain experience by being alive and get a ton more in battle with few losses

With Total War Warhammer out, I can see Lizardmen fitting pretty well to the system already in place. Kroq Gar and Lord Kroak as legendary lords, Saurus Oldbloods, Slann and Skink Warchief being regular lords, then having skink priests and scar vets as characters. then the Teradons would probably play similar to the dwarf gyrocopters then the rest of the units would be simpler to add in

Thank you for doing this so soon from the lore video. You're are a really amazing youtuber.Also I can imagine them doing a 'lustrian expedition' expansion later on from the release which could be a full expansion, that would add a skaven campaign where they have to take over lustria. The same could be said for the empire and possibly the vampire counts, however this would stretch the vampire pirates lore a bit. They could also do the same for ulthuan. Which would add the elven factions. I would prefer this type of expansion, like the medieval 2 kingdoms expansion, rather than the rome 2 culture pack, even if it would mean waiting a little longer and paying more.

Buddy, I really like your video, but unfortunately I have to say that as a Lizardman player, you have few errors. This is only a mention. Slann can be only in the second rank among just and only in the temple guards. Temple guards have no fear. Carnosaour is proportions of T-rex, not what you put in there for the picture. To top it all in one bite is able to hurt 3 wounds. 5 attacks with a bit of luck , he can kill in the first round 5 ogres, which it is 75% of the entire unit. Teradons are hunters of artillery. It does not serve to melee, but they are blasting javelins and drop rocks. Ripperdaktils is quite different other species. One model has 3 attacks, and if you do before battle put frog in the enemy units , which they hate. Each model has 3 attacks plus. With with the ability armor pearcin a killing blow, they to the terror of every heavy cavalry and infantry. Only there must be a lot of them. Because against armies with the amount initiative lot of them die before implants strike. Chameleon skinks have the ability chameleon skin. Which means that 90% of the forest is not hit with a bow. + At the beginning of the battle, they are able to sneak up on altilerii so close that in the first round are able to wipe out the garrison artillery. Engine of the gods dont shoots fireballs, but they do area effect across vast distances 4D6 and even enemy units in battle die. In other words, all your saurus in combat on several lines and you spin Engine of the gods and all the enemies are in flames. Troglodon is not really popular. Because it is only the supporting unit. Shoots acid is good agence big monsters. Skink oracle who is on him, serves as the ancient vesille for the Slann and through him can also cast spells. + once per battle can creem primeval roar, which virtually all Lizardman get buff that their predators attacks are multiplied at 5-6 and not just on the 6th. Due to its versatility while inability to perform one role properly, not often seen. Sorry for my eng. BTW I like your videos a lot . Great job!!!!

I'm assuming that the Slanns will be our legendary lords while the Saurus Old Blood will be our regular generals, maybe along the Skink Chiefs; and the Scar Veterans and Skink Priests will be our heroes. All legendary lords within the game are relevant individuals to the lore and the World of Warhammer, like Karl Franz, Gelt, Archeon and so on, the thing is, are there any individual Slanns? I know that the first five are dead, but are there a Slann or Slanns with different names, backstory, relevancy?

First I think the average Slann Should be lord, along with Old bloods and make skink chiefs like the goblin boss hero. Then the two legendary slann would be Lord Kroak and Mazdimundi. (Look them up)

Given their nature as guards I reckon Temple Guards should only be: 1. a generals bodyguard for slaan 2. a higher tier garrison unit like shogun 2's samurai retainer units (but much more badass) It preserves their fluff and gives your temple cities some defensive oomph

Though something to remember Lizardmen aren't expansionist they only aim to maintain the balance and exterminate chaos and the orks as well as a few other races. What the main point of the lizardmen would be its powerful nature but restricted nature as well as say depending on climate the effects on them aka cold places aren't nice.

vlad dragos If sarcasm the game is literally over like 40-50 years old, a lot of things are based on IT not the other way around. The biggest example is of course orcs, you probably look at them and think "warcraft did it first" when it turns out that warcraft/starcraft were scrapped games that blizzard wanted to develop for GW (owner of warhammer) before they stupidly called them off. Now if your not being sarcastic i will also admit, there are alot of things that are blatently ripped from other things, the vampire counts are a good example of this. I think warhammer's most original race however is probably the scaven as no other species has ever really acted like them. They have both rat ninja's and rats with freaking gauss rifles, and all of them are high off cocaine.
