I now believe that Alastor is just some kind of supernatural force that can haunt stores that you’re pretty sure were closed down but the lights are on and they’re open at weird hours, and feel really liminal but they are, apparently, open.

They’re places that animals and people (crossroads in particular) are just “passing through” (hotels and certain stores as well-you can see it in K-marts that occasionally still exist just… out there in the wild). The liminal might have only gotten its name in the 20th and 21st centuries, but that eerie feeling of them existed long before. I also will accept Alastor as a night guard/spirit that manifests around rest stops on Interstates across America (ever been at one of those at 1-3 in the morning? Spooky).

I love that Alastor's antlers are actually drawn more forward curved like an actual deer's because I've seen alot of people draw his antlers more backwards backwards like an elk's so that's a detail I really like!!:3 (Though the way the antlers of a a deer and elk all depend on the animal itself, some deer's have backwards going antlers some don't. Also, sorry for going on a biology rant, I js really enjoy the subject😭) GREAT DRAWINGS THOUGH I LOVE THEM SM THEY ARE SO YUMMY💯💕

AJSJSJ SURE, ill do a little recap of it cuz it is pretty long ajsj, the au mostly centers around a what if Vox had asked Alastor out him accepting but mostly not cuz he liked Vox but just from some morbid curiosity he had of what could happend if he said yes, he did then their relationship was always not the greatest, ofc, Vox actually liked Al, but Al didnt share those feelings, they then had a fight which Al almost ended with Vox this making them split up, Alastor disappears for the 7 years and then the normal story of hazbin starts from there, thats a little recap but theres a lot more of the au JAHJS
