the interpretation i landed on when sending this to a friend is that adam went down willingly to save the sinners from this version of charlie, who i speculate might have made some kind of deal to get out of hell. Based on design id also say this charlie might also be more blood thirsty than our own, so purhaps the exterminations are her venting that blood lust. just speculations tho just based on what little we see and the usual trends in swap aus from other fandoms

A channel made a cover of this song in spanish, and in the lyrics we can see that (I don´t know if that applies to the original idea) in this AU, the heaven is overpopulated, so the Heaven send demons to exterminate the angels so they would be send to Hell, Adam is searching the way to redeem the sinners, because well, God forgives everything and all that, without knowing that the Heaven is working with Hell to send angels to suffer for the eternity regardless of their actions, and yeah, in the au Lute is a demon in disguise

Adam really does draw such a stark contrast here. He's mortally worried for other people, he's humble, trying to keep composure before a malicious court - his subtilty and kindness makes him stand out - he's a man I want to follow and root for. From one appearance I can just tell what Charlie's inverse is like - her discordant appearance, the way she moves herself through space, forcibly grabbing Lute, getting right into interlocker's faces - Charlie's malicious alter-ego is *her* own. This feels like it's how it would be in this universe.

Attempts to feel that control by gathering as much dirt on someone as he can, and then threaten to broadcast it to everyone should they not bow to his whims. Constantly has a manic, anxiety-fueled smile to greet anyone unfortunate enough to meet his ire. / Vox, also known as "The Video Demon", is the current Overlord in control of technological advancements, including data collection and data protection. He came into power just short of a decade ago through use of every underhanded gimmick and useful connection he had, broadcasting every piece of his opposition's dirty laundry that he could so as to leave him as the only worthwhile choice for the consumer at large. Experience and competition has tempered his ego slightly, though he still thinks himself superior to most others and can be increadibly petty. Offered to aid the hotel with the intent to pit Adam's plans for redemption against Charlie's after the princess threatened to pull the plug on his broadcast for being dishonest in how he obtains his information and for being "too mean". Carmilla Velvette Carmilla is the Overlord in charge of the Arms Trade. She oversees the aquisition requests and meets the demands of the black market. Together, with Angel's manpower and Alastor's endless blackmail, the entire crime ring of Pride is nearly completely under their control... I love how this is a swap but still keep some thing the same, with Charlie wanting redemption for the wrong reason, and Adam being more for both sinners and winners wanting redemption but also acceptance. Or how Angel Dust lean on more his mafia roots and substance abuse and Valentino doing dangerous work than sex work. This is definitely a more interesting twist of it.

@Shadowsnhd There's still plenty questionable holes such as how would Charlie be up in heaven? is Adam somehow fallen because within the context of the series he'd be in Charlie's shoes, who is Lucifer swapped with if we are to assume many characters have been swapped? literally the only thing that makes any sense is the concept of Adam wanting to save sinners but with how Habzin Hotel is structured you'd have to really warp the story to make a swap with Adam and Charlie make sense that's why I said it doesn't make sense because there's a lot of questions to ask on how a universe like this operates

@@enegar2536 lets not forget that the depiction of Adam in the garden was told by Lilith to Charlie so it would make sense that she would paint him in the worst light possible, I'd like to think he started off rough around the edges, but Lilith leaving him definitely hit him hard, we have to remember that he was the first man and his whole purpose was to sire all of humanity, Lilith leaving like that basically denied him the whole reason for his existence, I'm sure he did regret some of his actions and thus when he met Eve he wanted to not waste his second chance, no doubt Adam did love Eve which makes her betrayal all the more of a gut punch, add on to one of his firstborne killing the other one the dude was basically screwed over and never had much of a happy life, His attitude towards women is bad, but considering his first two wives basically ditched him and left him for Lucifer, the literal devil, I'd imagine that would have really messed him up and shaped his worldview, lets also not forget Adam has been in Heaven for close to 10,000 years by the events of the Show, the dude has seen every atrocity, war, horror, and what not you could possibly imagine, Perhaps at one point he did want to redeem sinners but eventually lost hope and thus gave up trying. Perhaps its possible the reason he finds extermination to be entertainment is his personal revenge against Lucifer and Lilith for screwing him over in life.

Dude this is such a cool concept- and as a writer I literally thought of a whole story for a concept like this 💀 I imagine Adam being an Angel in heaven, and maybe things didn’t work out with eve at some point in his life so he wasn’t with her but he still upheld his morals to be a better person or try to do better cause maybe it was his fault him and eve split so realizing he was fucked up in the time he’s alone he does a lot of reevaluating, but in that time he finds out that the head seraphim’s were killing demons to keep the population lower, and he sees sinners as his children too since he was the first dad so he kinda saw this as wrong, turns out Charlie and vaggie were at the head of the agreement with the seraphim’s, the princess of hell opening the gates every year or what ever for the angels and vaggie being the head of that army to come down and kill those demons, Adam would find this to be messed up seeing her killing her own people not agreeing with those morals, thus leading to him having to say something about it, going through his little arc of self Improvement without realizing it. Then leading him to eventually meet lute who is an angel named lute who maybe he thought was human?(maybe she was a fallen Angel he met on earth?) while he is investigating who hid from the army cause she didn’t agree with the morals of killing demons either, leading to the scenes eventually that take place in the video. Idk where eve would fit in, but hey 🤷‍♀️ that would be really cool story too. (U guys could take that further or take everything deeper this is just the explaining of the surface of the idea)
