i think different lyrics might make sense then what people think. 'counting all the shapes in the sky' could mean looking at the different shapes that clouds form, but 'counting all the sheep in the sky' could mean counting sheep as a method of sleeping. the second option might work because the song then (possibly) goes onto to say 'caught up in a word of lies' meaning that the person that this song is written in perspective of is dreaming.

I found it unlikely that the song would have swear words in it, especially if it was televised like everyone is speculating. But songs from around that time (such as "Jet Airliner" in 1977) did use curse words, so it's not unlikely. And besides, it makes the entire meaning of the lyrics more cohesive. It makes sense and fits. And it's definitely "world of lies" instead of "web of lies" like some people are saying. You can clearly hear the "-urld" sound in "world" when the vocalist sings it. Slow it down and see for yourself. And everyone else kind of agrees on the rest of the lyrics. Update: The singer struggles to pronounce ending "S" sounds and the letter "R". It could be due to the audio quality, but it could also be due to an accent. A lot of people feel like it's a Japanese accent, which I definitely hear when he sings "truth", where it sounds more like "tooth". Additionally, some people think that it's a woman singing. It's clearly a man's voice. I don't need to explain that.

In OpenAI Jukebox stuff they usually sound wayyy more warped and garbled... like you usually can't tell if it's one voice or several, and leaving aside the fact that isolating the vocals on an AI generated song wouldn't yield such a clear track either, since all the instruments and vocals are usually jumbled together as well. Here, on the other hand, we can here VERY clearly when it's one voice and when the backing vocals come in. We can even make ou the syllables and we can start to tell what they are saying, more or less. (In AI generated music, it sounds soooo gibberish when you're trying to actually make out some of the words, and in my opinion that just isn't the case here). In the first line I also believe that its "shades" instead of "sheep" because in the slowed down vers (0.75 or 0.5) you can clearly hear a ''d''. I also doubt that it could be "carrying all your shame in disguise" cause the singer really likes to extend his words, so I feel like he'd sing disguise as disg-u-u-u-u-is-e-e and that'd be way more noticeable in the slowed down vers. On top of that if it were to be "carry all your shame in disguise", there wouldnt be no stop in-between his words because carry is a small world and the actual word (count-i-ng) he sings has a stop in-between and is way longer than carry. I feel like the snippet in general is sped up and the actual song is way slower
