If you slice it because its too far forward how do you still hit up on it if you have moved the ball back 2 fists. I have it forward to try and hit up on it and if i move it back i end up hitting too much down on it. Could you expain or do a video how to move it back to stop the slice but still hit up on it please 🙏

Make sure at setup u have that natural tilt w your right shoulder lower than the left ( for right hander )

I worked something like this out at the range over the last couple of weeks ,been hitting low hooks with no power ,as a someone who draws the ball I couldn’t see what was happening,did two things moved the ball further forward and made sure I was following through with the swing properly .moving the ball forward certainly made sure I’m hitting up on the driver ,sometimes the margins are so small you can’t see it yourself

And with a Driver a Neutral swing path, clubface and square stance hitting up will hit the forward ball way left (instep) left and back ball right. This is why great players such as Hogan, Snead, Casper, Moe Norman used a closed stance to naturally PULL the ball straight.

I'm very new to golf, like not even a month so I am trying to learn as much as I possibly can. I slice really bad and have been lining up the ball with the inside heel of my front foot because thats what everyone says to do so I will give this a try but it seems like this is just a way for you to be able to hit straight with a bad swing instead of correcting the swing itself, is that correct?

Working on mostly successful swing changes except for your issue that I have too. I know what it is. Releasing the club too early in my case. I can feel the face at impact pointing way left of target. Still working on solutions here. I know it’s a timing and weight shifting thing. T-e-m-p-o If I swing really slow but big and full, that seems to fix it every time. Until the next time 🤷‍♂️

Great video!!...1 fix done...nowmy other fix is my short and mid irons great...but my 4,5 iron goes way to low. I just can't get height in them distance are ok, but I can't hold greens...please help

hybrids are usually the fix for people like us who struggle hard with 4 and 5 irons these days. Lot of pros use hybrids, lot have switched back to hitting irons again, b ut a lot still use the hybrids, and most amatuer golfers will do better with hybrids than hitting the long irons. It's a player-to-player thing. I saw a 5'0" 12 year old kid hit a 4 iron 209-211 carry 5 swings in a row the other day without any practice... had to give that kid some props!

I have a question about loft. Im a woman play red pin mostly n I have my driver set at 12.5 degrees unfortunately it s not that type of driver which u can adjust the loft … so how high should I pin the tee up ? For me to be able to at least set up the position of the stance n the club face etc . But then sometimes it depends on the direction u want the ball to go so for example if it get super windy n u want to use your driver does that mean placing the ball more center of your stance n do half a swing and tee lower? Coz 12.5 gets the ball up super high like 55 ft 😂😂 Thoughts pls . Thank you!

Alex. I can par or birdie any hole at.my club, and it's a tough course. But I can also triple bogie any hole. I'm a 16 handicap trying hard to get better. I start playing with amazing drives, long irons and chips. I may shoot low 80s. Then, the next day, it's like I never played the game. Poor drives, poor contact, and then putting goes. Are there others like me? Whatsoever I do when the wheels fall off?

Usually hit the ball 260 yards 2 fairways over with a massive slice, decided to move the ball up in my stance, just forward of my pinky toe. Figuring this would give me more time to close the face, then hit 294 with a fade. Why does this go against what he said to do.

Alex... i am a 10 handicap with a fast swing speed, unfortunately the driver has been illuding me for the last 2 years out of the blue. HELP! 124mph club speed, 175-180mph ball speed... my issue is I have a 30-40 yard hook with a medium height flight OR i will top the ball dead straight into the ground 8 inches in front of the tee. Ive put the ball ahead of my big toe, still a big draw, put it just to the right of my armpit, still a big draw. My grip is identical to bryson's setup, left upper arm turned inward all the way, left hand turned all the way outward, left elbow facing target. I am shooting +9's with my driver being useless!

No it's not, if your swing is fine it's fine... if you're constantly slicing, moving the ball back in stance even a little can cure it for a TON of people without trying 500 other things that won't work... and it's super easy to try Look at where nelly korda has the ball in her stance. It's not as far forward as most...it's close to middle if anything... and she has one of the best swings i've ever seen, her wrist release is just insane (so are the rest of her mechanics) There's nothing wrong with doing this

I also see people whose right hand is not passing over the left hand in the swing at impact. This leaves the face open.
