YEAH!! I grew up in socal near the Santa rosa plateau nature preserve so I'm basing it a lot on that area. There's definitely a clan who lives around vernal pools 100%

OOOOOOOO KING I think this is the first time I've ever heard of a clan being set in America. Love the idea of Coyotes being involved and loved how you went into detail about the territory :D We love backstories in this house!! The designs are absolutely phenominal, especially Thrifstar, I love how she's a hairless cat, we don't see alot of those in warrior cats! Are Thriftstar and Birchear mates?? I'd love to hear more about their dynamic :D The way Cindertail has herbs wrapped around her tail just awwwwww Also also I LOVE how you managed to create different designs and colour combinations for the calico cats as it is something I tend to struggle with haha. Respect to you sir! Thank u for the crown I will wear it always. Also Thriftstar and Birchear are totally not mates but it's only because they haven't figured out they're in love yet, they'll get there eventually, that's like the secondary plot next to all the drama with Blacktail. Thriftstar recently lost her first mate and I'm a HUGE sucker for someone who has experienced loss realizing they're still capable of loving so it was kind of inevitable lmao. Between them they have enough fur for two normal cats!

thank you! I find it helps a ton when designing big groups or characters for a specific story to have an idea of some kind of theme. Doesn't have to be motivation, it could just be 'I'm going to base everyone on different flowers' or w/e but it's a great jumping off point for getting ideas
