i love how bayclan handles elderly cats. unfortunately the warriors books consider any cat above the age of five is suddenly at risk of being blown away or breaking their aching bones every second. as somebody who has owned a cat that was twenty plus years old, she was active until the end.

Same here! My cat was 22 and a shelter cat, and although I don’t remember much about her(I was young) that cat still had personality and life until the end. She had been an indoor-outdoor cat, had nine toes after one got bit off by a dog, got in two fights with other cats, but man she kept going.

It's worth keeping in mind that these are essentially feral cats. Feral cats have very short lives. Forest cats as depicted in the books actually seem to live a lot longer than feral cats generally tend to. (That might be deliberate as the clan lifestyle is generally depicted as preferable, safer, and healthier than the loner and rogue lifestyle.) That's not to say there aren't long-lived ferals... just dont underestimate how ridiculously varied the lifespan of a cat or any other animal is based on living conditions.

@@AyaKho i would agree, except the fact that warriors and these cats, while feral, have things like medicine and organized religion. they are meant to mimic the lives of humans and have been said to be humans by the authors. while feral cats usually don't live long, there is a possibility to live more than two to five years. the reason feral cats die off quick is from things like coyotes, cars, and other things that they have no control over. those things kill and injure members of the warriors community in the books, but other things like sickness and minor injuries that would sometimes lead to death are often never a cause because magic, kitty medicine. feral cats can live quite long, they are just more prone to infection and deadly interactions.

I just came back to this video, and all my God I love this clan to death. I genuinely want to be a cat in the clan (i’d probably be a random kitty pet that just decided “Frick it I’m going across the road with a rainbow tail because my two legs are weird” And runs across the thunder path with a tale that has been permanently dyed rainbow because of the two legs. I think Bayclan is even more interesting than Bushclan. Not only because of how they treat their elders and disabled cats, but their view on death and starclan. I also like how they aren’t as stuck up as other clans and will accept any cat who wants to join, be they clan cat, loner, rogue, or kitty pet.

i absolutely love the personalities of these cats!! the whole idea of them fighting anything and seeing death as just another part of life is something i've never really seen happen yet in warrior cats, and honestly it really inspires me! all the designs are so nice and pretty!! i can't wait to hear lore and a cohesive story about all the clans!! my fav has to be hornetpaw (i am BLOWN AWAY by the design, it's just SO GOOD!!!) and mudstream (i love a silly grandma that still loves to go out and fight)!! can't wait for the next video!

I'm just now seeing all your clan cat videos and can I just say I adore BayClan specifically??? The concept of them living in close proximity to farms and ranches, giving the clan cats ample opportunity to recruit new members is exactly what I wanted for my own main clan! It's so fun and gives such good ways to tell stories if you include more perspectives.

I honestly cannot describe how happy I am to see this video. When I first came across your bushclan video, I was not immediently interested as I have never heard of a clan generator, but am a huge warrior cats fan so I thought I might as well check it out. I honestly cannot describe how much I loved it, because after I finished the video I immediately restarted it and watched the whole thing through again. It just absolutely amazes me how you can be so creative and come up with these unique stories the Offical warrior authors could only dream of, and combined with your calm, soothing voice I was immediately attached. Since then I have watched it over a dozen times, and have never gotten a bit disinterested. I have also showed it to my mom and watched the whole thing with her, and was very happy when she enjoyed it to. I know I will anxiously be waiting on my toes for the next part in the series and be rewatching this video many, many times!!

I love all the cats in this clan, but Mudstream is definitely my favorite by far! She's spunky and reminds me of a lot of my favorite side characters from other shows (Eda from the Owl House to be specific). Dude. All of my OCs, of any race/species I've made, would fit right in with this clan! They fight to protect each other and others that they may not even know. Most, if not all, are covered in scars from fights either for fun or for protecting people. They're all energetic, and the elders still fight instead of sitting out because they despise the thought of not dying in battle. They don't really try to avoid getting injured. Looking at the dragon characters I've made, this is very apparent. While they have armor they can wear, they don't wear it. Why should they, after all? They're skilled warriors that can handle a few broken bones or blood loss. Lol. I feel like this entire video was just describing my OCs personalities. Whoch is amazing! :]

I love that Bayclan doesn’t understand Bushclan’s struggles because in their views they look at death more positively and see it as a chance to celebrate life. XD Honestly, I fell in love with your clan generator series since the first one with BushClan and I have been subscribed ever since. This most recent addition is just as interesting and inspiring with the first as each character is just so interesting and unique! Plus, I love how the elders are so much more then the simple "I'm old, I'm tired, my bones hurt" like how the actual warrior books seem to default elders to. Hi! I made a cat in a warrior cats game a while back, and I feel like if he was a part of this series, he would fit right into BayClan! (I just wanna talk about a cat I made lol) Egret’Drift is a looney elder in BayClan, his suffix nods to him just being in his own world and how he drifts away from the norms. Egret’Drift is a gray fluffy tom with stripes and pale yellow eyes. He isn’t blood related to anyone in the clan, in fact he claims that he came from a clan from “Far far far far far away in a land always full of snow.” Whether that is true no one really knows, as his stories don’t always line up or are just too wild to be true. Andddd yeah, that’s about it! :D

The way they look at risk as a way to learn and death as a time to celebrate the cat's life (which makes sense in the warriors world because they all know for certain that the afterlife exists and that they'll see their loved ones again) is fascinating and all the cats have lovely and unique designs and personalities.
