For a moment, I thought you were going to get into Eric Berne's transactional analysis! This is an excellent series, Tara.

Nearly Richard - great suggestion for a stand alone vlog though. I'm hoping to do some inspiration people / theories sessions leading into Christmas - after the intensity of this series. So that's a ripper!!!! txxx

Thanks so much, Sheryl. I felt this one very deeply. Each week, I think - this will be the 'light' one - and I end up full goth. Again :). But I think this one is a really big problem area - in some disciplines more than others... You take care superstar. Can't manage without you! txxx

I should have found this video earlier.....My supervisor mentioned not only one time about how she's proud of students having papers accepted or other achievements, "just like a mother"... that is a red flag of toxic office culture, never clear guides, bending research directions, and the final turning point: the offensive behavior in the private meeting couple of months later just before the submission of research plan. Now when I tried to get out of the relationship to work remotely, the committee member called a private meeting after the evaluation, saying that maybe you could resign before we make the report to fail you.

I acknowledge, it was credible information. Thanks Tara.

Hi Tara! I've been watching your videos every day and they've been extremely helpful with my research... Especially, I loved your video about poststructuralism. I'd appreciate it if you could please make a video about phenomenology as well. Thanks!

Hey tara thanks for the post, you are rocking the PhD students life in a good way, so thank you, so tara what do you think about the books atomic habits and habit stucken and the power of habits...I must build the habit of early bird cause I have a lot of work (my phd thesis writing). So what is the best to read, And by the way how you did it i mean how you managed to wake up early as a phd students # i'm watching all your vlogs and posts. If I can make a suggestion for a post, is a more deep discussion of the vlog time and tasks and time I mean more about time management and priorities, and how to manage the cv building and the professional development (for that doing it by reading books) and the phd thesis writing and reading and the teaching and supervising of undergraduate student), I know how busy you may be. But you can manage to just write me some orientations here so i can move from this blockage i'll be so grateful, and I hope that you will consider to do a poste about that too so many of people can benefit from your wonderful advice and orientations.

Children also desperately need supportive boundaries from their parents. Without them roles get mixed up, dispair and confusion will appear.
