Do you always need a crown after post and core? Due to get this done but mine says fibre tooth post and core, posterior composite filling and root canal. Dont want to spend £750 on 1 tooth if its going to fail not having a crown.

I recently had RCT and have very little tooth remaining. My dentist decided to not use a post and instead used SDR to build a core around the tooth to support the crown. Is this approach sensible?

Hi I am 40 years old, for the past 2 months sometimes my gums are giving me pain(may be for 2 or 3 days) and later normal, today I see one of my front down teeth is slightly cracked and if I tap on that teeth severe pain, I am visiting India by MAY month end, is that ok I wait until may month to visit to a dentist ? Please suggest 🙏

Sir my upper front tooth has been half broken in such a way that I'm feeling intense sensation while drinking hot or cold liquids...in such case is rct needed? Or filling or capping would be sufficient, I don't have any pain in the teeth and gum, apparently it seems gum is not affected.
