What caught my attention was Kamala's general thesis that the future would be fine so long as people rejected the politics of division and negativity. The problem is that she's essentially appealing to people who think that the political and economic system are essentially fine and just need a few progressive policies to fine tune. I cannot fathom that a huge majority of independents are that optimistic and will shift their votes in that direction, which may explain the limited effect of the debate.

Immediately after the debate Walmart announced lowering prices on 7000 products and gas prices went down. Voter registrations increased at record rates. Taylor Swift's endorsement saw over 400,000 directed to registration site from her website and rising. Harris raised $49M dollars mostly in small dollar donations in 24 hrs. That's now over a billion dollars in just 3 months. I wouldn't worry about polls right now. If she flips North Carolina she's guaranteed a landslide victory. A lot of evidence will be in the news on his rico case in a couple weeks. He'll be sentenced on his 34 felonies Nov 26.

GOP House and Senate republicans say Trump needs to debate Harris again because Trump was almost as bad as Biden. Trump needs to focus on policy and not memes. He also needs to end the personal attacks. But the big thing is Trump and Vance need to eliminate repeating conspiracy theories like Haitians eating pets. It just doesn't look presidential. Trump himself is the biggest obstacle DJT faces retaking the White House.

To say the Harris won the debate is absolutely asinine. I don't know who was polled and how dumb those people are, since she told one lie after another about him and the moderators never called her on a single lie. How funny is it that the best presidential campaign strategy against Trump is doing no press. Biden did it, and now Kamala Harris is.
