Smithscript shield, night claws, the scattershot crossbow, blindspot and swiftslash, that's all of the things on my list that needs a proper balance, bone bow is definitely fine it's easy to counter once knowing the gimmicks especially in duel, it's pretty bad in duels in fact, speaking of bows, ansbach bow or whatever it's called probably needs a bit nerf I didn't use it myself so can't tell, but based on playing against it in duels I feel that things damage is a bit too high as a short bow style bow weapon. Ah and rakshasa katana needs some slight nerf as well, it hits too hard as offhand weapon and having hyper armor on great katana weapon class is just crime, great katana is perfect fine tho.

Except it isn't 1v2's or 1v3's. it is always 1 + infinite enemies + environmentals hazards v2's or v3's. Host+Summons are the only thing invaders have to worry about. Host+Summons have to worry about everything. Nobody ever mentions how invaders can just warp around too.

@@TheMeanArena pve isn’t infinite and many environmental hazards affect all players. Hosts can use an item that turn enemies hostile towards invaders. A host + 1 summon has a combined number of 3x the flasks an invader has. If you think an invader VS 3 players is on equal ground you are either delusional or just an absolute trash player.

Yea, its absolutely ridiculous now. I haven't touched the DLC since it dropped given everything is so dumb and overpowered. Even before then, I quit the pvp aspect of this game three months before the DLC dropped. This is coming from someone whose taken on DS3 gank squads constantly in the Ringed City or Pontif's Courtyard. I don't ever feel like I'm in control and skill just doesn't exist in this game. I've never used any of the overpowered stuff and I don't want to have to set up an entire inventory to hotswap between just to have an answer for every situation. I miss Dark Souls 2 where you can get the job done with one or two weapons at most and where victories were way more skill dependent. ER's pvp is just too busted for me and the TTK is so stupidly low even for normal duels.

Some people preffer to avoid engaging too much with hardswapping and cheap golem arrow shots to win. Not even late DS3 made invaders rely that much on duped inventories and burst damage on average, ER's balance is just sad

The sad thing is the bone bow actually makes bow fun and consistent in pve, I've been testing bosses with it and greatbow. Greatbow is a tedious chore bone is fun but it is overtuned on pvp

What you're missing is that Steelovsky is not the only invader playing the game. There are beginner invaders who have to deal with this ganking nonsense. He's probably the 0.1% who even stands a chance, and even then, you can see how close it is at 8:10. He's mad on behalf of other invaders, I'm guessing because he remembers what it's like being one himself.
