@@gavinchan2672heavy reach on generational talent. Edey might be the most fit dependant rookie in this class. He will need the perfect system and personnel around him to succeed. He is mobile but also still slow for NBA standards and will need to showcase a better offensive arsenal before being as impactful as he was in college (hooks and 5 foot lay ups). Offences like the Pacers and Kings with crazy tempo will eat him up.

Not really sure this is accurate I think he was most disappointed in the fact that he got drafted so late since he was projected around 10-15. Plus he might have had a suit in purple to match the Kings colour which were probably going to draft him if Carter didn’t drop. Also the fact he never went to Canada may have stunned him a bit.
