These fans are used for large buildings, especially high-rises to literally suck the smoke out if a building were to catch fire so people can exit more safely and fire fighters can see more clearly. The suction power on these is absolutely astounding if you’ve ever seen one in action!

Actually, in this case it is an Exhaust Fan. Just look at the pitch of the fan blades and the direction of rotating. That fan blows out of the building. Not to say that there isn't Pressurization Fans, but in this video that is an Exhaust Fan.
