Hi Jim I'm happy to hear you guys came back safely to your home and found everything pretty much intact, guitars and all! Enjoyed your talk and I would have been very much surprised if the Jaguar hadn't made it into your top 5 list! I forgot how much you love Teles and a HSS Strat. I'd love to see what you'd think of a Gibson SG Special with P-90s. I have one and it's one or my favorite guitars, light weight, comfortable to play, well balanced and what's not to like about a P-90 equipped guitar right? More importantly glad you and your family are safe! 🙂👍

SG's sound great, but they don't work for me comfort wise and the neck dive is rough. It always feels like the first fret on the neck is an extra foot away on a SG compared to any other guitar I play haha

@AudiomoMusic a good wider strap that has some "grip" to the inside and your neck dive goes away 👍 I get it though if they're not your thing Jim. I'm glad you like how they sound though at least 🙂

I was thinking about y'all when I heard about Milton. We were hit hard by Helene and went without power and internet for two weeks. Living through that showed me just how fragile our modern lifestyle really is. It's crazy to see people in America fighting over gas, and camping out in front of grocery stores. But it's also nice to see how quickly the infrastructure can be restored in the grand scheme of things.

We had the same thing during Ian, we will never forget that. No water, power, or internet. Had to drive for my wife or my daughter to go to the bathroom multiple times a day. I'm with you on the reality of such an experience really showing you not only how fragile but how privileged of a life we have here compared to other parts of the world. I'm happy things are up and running for you again!
