Nice demo - how to tweak your grip and feel across verse and chorus. I spoke with a pro guitar player who told me the same, to vary open/closed, and volume, between verse and chorus, also between songs. Personally a big fan of high stick height too, I find that hi hat and snare sounds their best then. Not always possible in small rooms.
