You cannot go wrong with anything Morgan James sings. When you are a Juilliard trained opera singer who left that to go on Broadway who left that for a solo career, you are extremely talented. Check out her other 9 videos with PMJ and her own channel. Dear Prudence and Come Together are two examples of ber power. As well as her Aretha Franklin covers. Sitting and belting like she does is impressive. Very.

Morgan is amazing. Here is your tip of the day. Angelina Jordan. She is a once in a century talent. At 16 she has 160 plus covers and has originals as well. No one better, and I love Morgan James, and Angelina will bring out emotions like no one else. She also helps bringing her million plus subscribers when you do reactions. nice reaction darnell and tgif. if this is your first postmodern jukebox (aka pmj) then you have a lot of enjoyment ahead of you. pmj is a rotating collection of of musicians and vocalists created by scott bradley (the pianist) that re-image current songs vintage (1920s to the 1960s) in the music, arrangements and performance that literally take you back in time. this cover by morgan james is stunning and really shows off her julliard background. the arrangement (especially the strings) is also superb. as good as this is though it does not quite match "creep" by pmj and haley reinhart. it is a masterpiece and maybe the best cover ever done.

in the same vibe as this performance, you need to check out David Phelps "I have Nothing" I am truly amazed when a familiar song gets remade in a different style of what we are used to. at karaoke, I sing Paula Abdul's "Straight up" those that dont know me wonder why a a guy is singing it. when i'm done, they are beside themselves. PMJ was set up by Scott Bradlee the guy that does the arrangements and plays the Piano, they use a variety of singers for their shows another Morgan James one to listen to is Take me to Church, other singers with them well worth listening to are Haley Reinhart singing Creep, Seven Nation Army and Don't Speak. Allison Young doing Happier and a brilliant cover of ELO's Mr Blue Sky and anything they do involving Sara Niemietz who is currently on tour with them in Europe and has been with them on and off from the start. There's also a a cover of All about that Bass that not only features the vocals of Morgan and Haley but also Arianna Savalas the daughter of Kojak actor Telly Savalas. Finally a Rabbit hole you might like to go down on the Acapella route is Pentatonix try their Daft Punk Medley to get you started. Sorry for the long winded post but hope it gives you a few ideas.
