Terraria Calamity Let's Play Dani the Demon: a Death Mode Melee Class Terraria Playthrough (Calamity 2.0 / tmodloader 1.4). In this episode of Terraria Calamity Mod Melee Lets Play, Dani defeats the Profaned Guardians, Dragonfolly (Bumblebirb), and Signus, Envoy of the Devourer (one of the Sentinels of the Devourer). Death Mode is a harder difficulty in the Calamity mod similar to the Master Mode difficulty in Terraria 1.4 Journey's End. Dani is a young demon that is trying to save her underworld home by defeating the Adult Eidolon Wyrm.

When storm weaver is in its second phase, you can damage it anywhere, not just the tail, so I recommend the stellar contempt.

Generally speaking the stellar contempt is good enough to use against poltergeist, which is the first boss I usually fight in post-moonlord.

Nice vid bro also the reason you cant catch those lava critters is because you need to upgrade your bug net to the lavaproof bug net which only require hellstone bars

You can parry whilst doing the ark 5th move (you gain 2 charges if you do it whilst it’s not charged or using the last charge of a full parry because it won’t charge on a fifth move parry mid air thing) and you can hold w while pressing rmb to do a scissor strike and yes I know I made it sound way more complicated than it actually is but it’s easy to figure out

Unless you don't want to, try using Yo'yos. A friend and I did the math, Yo'yos have the highest DPS of any weapon in calamity.

For Dog, I used the soul edge for homing and when it charged at me and lined up all the segments, I used banshee hook / terror blade. And for yharon, the empyrean knives worked the best for me.

the gilded proboscis does post dog levels of damage if you optimise for melee speed and crit chance, might make for an interesting episode lol

While using the ark of the ancients, or ark of the cosmos, the attack that throws it and does a spin, if you let go of left click right after you throw it, the sword will do a secondary attack and do more damage.

that short sword works great against providence best in my opinion also you can craft asphalt platform and than turn them into unlimited asphalt platform and when you have unlimited asphalt platform in inventory you can make skybridge of asphalt by using skybridge builder

Also the Burning Sky (which was that Yharon weapon you mentioned) they did rework it a while ago and did some changes to it but it's still a good weapon. The other melee weapon from Yharon is way better though so it'll be fun seeing you get those weapons eventually :)

Devourer of Gods is made extremely simple with the Deaths Ascension and Terror Blade. during his 1st like minute of the fight he just flys above you idly use DA during that, for the rest of the fight use TB as it infinity pierces and does great damage to it and its minions

Fun fact : all the Ark sword can parry the enemy itself to do dmg , not just for parry projectile If want to do the most dmg with ark Parry, after 2 spin parry again

7:04 the explosion is your solar armor's solar shield reacting to yourself getting hit; why you were getting hit is because you cannot catch the critters from hell with a regular net. They must be captures using a net upgraded with hellstone or the golden net. Btw, 1.4.4 recently came out and with some big changes to most melee weapons and some new challenge seeds, such as the new "remix" seed or the "zenith" seed. Any plans on doing one of these after this series?

Ark upgrades can parry projectiles, but it's better to parry the boss itself. It will give you some IFrames

once your done with this you should do a 1.4.4 melee playthrough, it feels so modded compared to 1.4.3 and if your gonna do it pls do it on the getfixedboi seed, its so fun
