the lord advocate was appointed by the SNP and is beholden to them, so don't expect her to be independent, her recent behaviour interfering in the operation branchform police enquiries is very suspicious.

Been watching some of the enquiry on tv. Find it amazing that over 49 people can give very similar statements and one of the p.o. investors either doesn't recall or often remembers something completely different. Makes you wonder why they had the job at all.

It’s actually worse in Scotland then!!!! In England and Wales the Post Office brought private prosecutions without needing the Police or CPS involved. It appears in Scotland the Post Office couldn’t do private prosecutions (probably because of our separate legal system) and instead had to hand their evidence over to COPFS, who then convicted these innocent sub-postmasters. COPFS absolutely have serious questions to answer. Correct me if I am wrong on any of the above points but it’s my understanding of the situation.

At one point in his word salad he seemed to imply that Scottish prosecutions was less reliance on horizon data than elsewhere, so who gathered the evidence against the Scottish Sub Postmasters, post office investigators or police Scotland, he was justice minister what part did he play in this injustice

Kier Starmers dept coverd England and Wales only, Scotland has its own Prosecution Service which should have investigated the claims made by the PO before prosecuting post masters in Scotland. In England the law is that the PO was allowed to charge them directly

Are you thick??? Starmer was in charge of the CPS which is for England and Wales. The CPS and Starmer had nothing to do with Scotland. In Scotland it’s COPFS because of our separate legal system. Totally different organisations.
