Post Op garden tour-I'm recovering well| Backyard Veg Plot in South Cumbria| Grow your own food|
I went in for my operation on 10th July and was in for just 2 days before being discharged home on the Friday evening.
I've been told the surgery went well but have to wait a few more weeks before I get some more results, so now its a case of rest and recuperate!
Fortunately, our backyard Veg Plot is fairly easy to maintain and my wife is taking charge just now (she is doing a great job!)
We have plenty of roots, greens, peas, lettuce and potatoes and our tomatoes are just ripening now. The tree Lilly's are the best ever this year. I also show some of the Elephant Garlic I lifted the day before I went into hospital.
Thanks for watching- please consider subscribing to my channel, I'd really appreciate it!

Sometime rain saves the day. Glad it rained to take care of the garden while you were out of action. It's good to see you back in the garden again.

Brilliant to see you back on your feet. There's no better therapy than a garden when you are convalesing. Just don't try and do too much too soon. Wish my cabbages looked so good:)

@@andrewwhitehead2002 Hi Andrew Absolutely right, gardens are amongst the best therapy! It's not easy to restrict the level of activity I'm used to but needs must. Those summer cabbage are excellent, they've loved the cool, damp conditions. Btw, I saw a photo of the polycrub, it's looking great 😃👍 ATB 👍👍👍

Glad you’re ok and back home. WOW blueberry 🫐 galore Woody. Hey it’s sunny and hot here but my squash aren’t any better here. I’ve sown some bush beans again today the previous ones are not liking the heat 🥵 but then neither am I. Stunning tree lily Woody and yes they smell absolutely amazing. Tree lilies go 1st year 3’ 2nd year 4’ and 🎉🎉 3rd year over 6’ they are literally a tree and I love them. Great haul on elephant garlic. Have a great week Woody take it easy, Ali 🌞32c🥵🇨🇦

@@myrustygarden Hi Ali The blueberries are looking great ( and I did go back for that handful Lol). Weird how your squash are struggling but I guess it's maybe about optimal temperatures 🤔. I wish we had space for more tree lollies, they are truly stunning! Have a great week too and stay cool 😎 ♥️
