I played a few games and it was great fun playing that offensively. I do have a question tho: Do you sometimes get rhe feeling that your opponent has figured out what you're doing and starts to exploit the weaknesses of the formation in the second half? And if so, how do you mix it up? In the 4 games I played I scored goals in the first half and in the second half the opponent often came back. It seems like a very strong formation but not one that is suited for 90 minutes against good players. Thoughts? Thanks!

as a super attacking setup it's rather easy to concede in the 424 if you lose focus or rush your defenders out. i often make little adjustments in the half-time. if i'm losing the midfield too much i switch to a 451. if i'm struggling with chance creation i switch one striker into poacher. also often i sub in a tall ST and try German crosses in the second half. but you'd be absolutely correct. in my last 5 champs matches i switched back into a more defensive setup in the last 30mins of the game. against sweaty players 424 is a bit more open in the back than i'd like.

@@Omidexce Thanks a lot for the insight! That's what I thought, around the 60th minute mark seems like a good time to mix it up. I play POTM Putellas and for her it's great, she gets into my favorite trivela position (just scored 3 long range bangers with her in one match, one was wild). Sorry to bother you again...German crosses (I'm German), remind me again...that was facing away and then a L1 driven cross?

her Trivelas do be killing it for me too! German crosses are the ones where you trigger a run from the center of the midfield (or a tall false 9) then you take the ball to the wings and cross it to the running player at a 90^ angle. (important to time the cross exactly when the runner is just one step away from being offside.) and no need for L1 or L1+R1 or anything. just a normal high powered cross. works like a charm literally 10 times out of 10

Literally had a series called weekly champs update. updated my top 3 formations each week, with champs highlights and rewards. even my rank 1 videos didn't get more than 500 views. I'm not a numbers guy in that sense but i feel like the audience are only interested in those RTG type videos if they "know" the content creator. Mine is too small of a channel for those type of content yet!

I will try this out once the Ballon D’Or cards leave. I think I tried one like this (not sure on the roles, don’t have them in front of me) against an 89 rated AI and liked how it played. I have had more than a few games against the AI where it was tightly contested, then when I score once it usually leads to a second goal being scored quickly. Whether that opens the floodgates varies.

@ yeah I run advanced forwards not false 9 and a holding midfielder instead of deep lying and note I play on p4 version which is faster so maybe try omi’s one since I believe he plays on ps5 version

past week i've been playing lots of old gen and i'll have to say it's much more fun to play than the new gen version. I'd be playing old gen all FC25 year long if it wasn't for content.
