The Inaki Williams SBC next to the crafting upgrade is the perfect example of EA's nonsense SBCs. 150k SBC that has the same pace, same shooting, same physical and +1 passing as the FREE 84 evo at launch, and the SBC doesn't even have the power shot+ the free evo does! So you're gaining literally almost nothing and losing powershot+ for 150k. Joke.

Every year they give you less and less in the hope you would spend more and more. It's all about making more money for EA. Also, everybody is talking about inconsistent gameplay, without acknowledging DDA. They cannot fix inconsistent gameplay because it would mean removing DDA and making this game purely skill based. Leading to less spending. And that's the main problem. Every improvement they could make to the QoL of the players will lead to less spending. Their main focus is making the game just good enough so that players will buy it and then making it bad enough that you will always feel like things could be better, ''why not buy some packs to upgrade your team''. I packed TOTY Hansen last year and sold her for 7.5m, was my biggest W in my 20 years of playing the game. As amazing as it was, it actually was the beginning of the end for me, after that, I bought my dream team, and even that couldn’t save me from this game. I quit shortly after and now just watch you guys talk about the game. The story is, even if you have the best team, if the game is awful, it’s not worth your time.

I appreciate what Nep is saying about Evo’s, I assume some of the +2s to OVR are due to the weighting of stats against their effect on an OVR Calc…. So if there are only 4 stat elements to PHY, say a +8 on 2 will effect the OVR due to weighting ….. what doesn’t make sense is getting a +2 based zero stat increases…… so either says to me that the OVR card rating is entirely separate to the stat totals themselves, or any change to any stats is nothing more than a graphical enhancement in the attributes page and doesn’t make a blind bit of difference to the player in game ….. either way it’s dodgey AF…..!!!

It's honestly very simple. They're absolutely terrified of doing anything that can potentially impact pack sales. I've said this many times but this is why who owns something is so critical. When something is owned by people that just want money and nothing else the quality of the product becomes a race to the bottom. As I read through the comments. I do not freaking care about EAFC, but for now it is the best futbol game out there and we are forced to play it for the love of the sport. Many will say play irl, who said people who play irl are not gaming? Football lovers are forced to be stuck in EAFC unless they decide to not play football virtually at all. i enjoyed fifa 23 and the nightmare started in fc24 it was a horrible experience and it felt so much how EA moved the probability to get some cards and those "errors" were part of the day after day when the content time arrives to see if EA made another mistake on purpose, but not only that the SBC was really bab i remember asking months if a defender was better than gold VVD, then the legues sbc arrived and started the ludopathy and it became worst when we got the trading 85 - 89 cards to get more gold and use them in pick, and then let the cicle run, it was the worst and most gambling game i have ever played even i play some gacha games, i am glad i quit the game but sad i spended money on FC25

I have experienced 8 years of UT with usually playing until July. But i have stopped chasing rewards and games at the start of november. For me, auto team press is horrible, basically all players can auto press with no skills or partice. Games volume is too heavy for rivals, market is quickly dead and useless rush mode. I get that they want people in the store but there now is nothing to keep you on the game…l they’ve gotten rid of everything that made it fun in the menus and pushed people to the store too much. One of the problems is gold cards being completely useless. There is very little gold cards worth over 100 or 200k. Everything you pack is just for fodder. We open so many big packs and make no money, it’s just fodder for more gamble sbcs. Rewards feel pointless

I strongly agree that the gameplay is HORRENDOUS, like terrible, but I really disagree and don't think the conent is the issue (besides repeated promos promo players from prior years). With the SBCs, they give you a chance of getting high rated players, which is what we all want. The problem is, that many of those higher rated players aren't usable because of the way the gameplay and how you can just spam finesse shots or how only certain playstyles and stats matter. If the gameplay was more balanced and didn't have these exploits and more players were usable, we wouldn't be so upset with the content, because packing something like a 90 rated KDB would be seen as good because he could be used in game, whereas now, people would be upset with packing one of the highest rated players in the game and say we got nothing from the content and SBCs, because he can't be used in game. So for me, this is solely a gameplay issue or the content is only seen as so bad because the gameplay is so bad.

Huge fan of FIFA games since 09 but this year by far is the worst one ever comfortably, the rebounds, the stupid animations that result in being tackled, tackles from behind, finesse shots and power shots and 5 backs, no team diversity at all, everyone is running either Son, Salah and Griezmann, with Evo’d Rashford and everyone plays the exact same way, the PC hackers in UT and even in Clubs, the game is just chalked. It’s so incredibly boring, I haven’t played in weeks, came back for the Balon D’or promo, played 2 games and just uninstalled it because it’s just hot garbage

Ea makes the menu grind easier by adding the ignore positions and dupe storage and then proceeds to have nothing to grind in the menu

Its mid november, 78 x _'s should have been retired a month ago. Minimum reward for objective or sbc should be 81 overall at this point. We dont pack the good promo cards anyway. They really made evos more varied and accessible...
