Hi Mike! When playing 442 I have the issue with my CMs not tracking back. Making it easy for my opponents to play through my chains and isolate the CBs. I didnt have this issue with your 4213 formation. Any recommendations for addressing this issue in the 442?

I'd definitely say because they CMs, they situate quite high compared to the CDMs in the 4-2-1-3. So then why not implement the same tactics but in the 442 (2)?

That can work bro! Del pierro is essentially like a CAM/CF so false 9 works on him. Try Poacher on Torres, if u see less goals go Advanced forward on him

Play Morgan advanced forward since she has 5 star WF then Smith false 9 since she's agile and can adapt with movement

Id say better as the advanced forward because of 5 star WF...however can still drop back, collect and play them finesse shots as a false 9

@ im using pitch predator thuram with the 4*4WF PowerS+ as advanced thats why and i also got dinho on the left. Even though the 4411 would probably be better, im not that good at the game and the 442 feels very easy to use and low risk

U can definitely run the 442(2) with the same tactics here... then with 2 cdms, with the cdms try make one a holding and another maybe box to box or Playmaker
