Such a wonderful film, I look forward to visiting again in the near future. And I think whilst certain people can say what they like about Flying Scotsman, it's presence at heritage railways has helped to bring in the customers and their money to keep those lines going, and will continue to do so in the future.

The old saying: Where there's a will there is a way never rang more true than in what was achieved here. That 'Bulldog' tenacity is amply displayed here. Keep up this great job

Dont normally comment on videos but this line is great and I really have enjoyed photographing the war on the line events and cant wait to get back soon. These videos have been a great insight in to this wonderful railway and the hard work that has gone in to maintaining it .I'm sure with support the story has many more stories to come.

Well presented and lovely preserved railway I have been over many years a supporter and share holder on the Churnet Valley and had a chance to buy driving time on many loco’s But of late I have become very dissatisfied with how things are run Sadly the travel distance to be volunteers is a bridge to far 🇩🇪-🇬🇧

Hi Daniel, no the shunter wasn't even an 08! It was a class 11(12049) not 08288/D3358. 08288 was the black one that had a self alone electrical fire. It is now back in action in its BR blue livery name ‘Phoenix’.
