Jet has a shoulder injury and a lat muscle injury, the latter (no pun inteneded) is really painful - you cant sleep on it, it hurts everything from your kidneys to your rib cage at the same time, cant belive he can even ride with it.

I think they only do MRI for surgery with die injection to highlight area's of damage Shoulder from my own experiences are worse than waiting for ribs to heal & surgery at Jetts young age would be a disaster I think AC 9 had shoulder issue's that ultimately screwed his career so finger's crossed for Jett

@pauloneill2530 mri scans just diagnose the damage like and xray but of tissue etc I've had multiple mri ( knee ligaments, shoulder rotacuff ) . No need to inject dies . But totally see he is hurting hope this isn't a ongoing troubling situation like ac9

Its his first full season on a 450. Its got to be touch on all rookies going from east/west 250 to full 17 sx rounds. Noone ever thinks about the travelling getting on and off planes all the time got to be exhausting in itself. Plus he or Hunter now never gets a break during mxdn time. Being that elite racing every race possible and winning most of the time has to take a toll. Why you think guys like Carmichael, Villopoto and Dungey retire so early. They never turn down mxdn like Tomac

It's weird every time the press praises Chase. he reverts back to the same old Chase crashing a 3rd place. Let Chase get some consistency before anointing him a Jetson killer. Jetson never has excuses, and the same can be said about Hunter. The crowd wasn't as big as past years, but they were boisterous and appreciative of a fantastic day of sand shredding.

Feel like outdoors these guys realize how small the sport really is every year. Coming from supercross where the crowds and energy are crazy big, to outdoors where the energy is super high but the crowds just not that big. Outdoors really show that this is an oem run sport and honestly for what it is I think they do a damn good job. I think as a young rider you get this grand image of the sport and how big and awesome it is but once you've done outdoors a few times you realize how small it is. I whole heartedly believe the sport is really close to going to the next level. Next level isn't the nfl but a descent size jump for us. Got a lot of popular riders and with some sponsorships coming in maybe it'll happen.

Tomac never turned down MXDN. He was with factory Kawasaki 90% of his career and that team refuses to send guys overseas for MXDN. That's why he only did the Red Bud race on that team, he did race Latvia MXDN 2014 on a Honda 450 where he fell first corner both motos and raced his way up to 2nd against all of the worlds best. Then he raced the 2022 MXDN on Yamaha, but again at Red Bud..
