We should consider trading Bouchard, as his defensive performance has been subpar.

Trade him when his value is the lowest it's ever been? Yeah, let's make the same mistake this franchise always makes and lose another player for basically nothing. It's worked out so well for us

Im sorry, but have some more accountability Knob. You look dazed and confused on the bench while we're losing, get tougher. Bouchard would've been benched by any other coach last game, your line changes don't work. You have arguably the best offence in the league and we got shut out again, look in the mirror for once.

The problems that are mounting started with the signings and non-signing in the summer. Oilers are too slow and too predictable. Some of the new players do not fit in well. I do not think we make the playoffs unless something is done about some personnel issues.

Well I hate to say it, but, this team is hitting rock bottom again two years in a row now, the top players are feeling the stress and it shows, the coach is at he’s wits end and doesn’t know what course of act to take, the new GM isn’t anywhere to be seen, the only ones that the fans can see doing an excellent job is the trading staff scraping the injured off the ice. The only way this team turns around is to have an reliable every game goalie with a .920 sv% or better that doesn’t need a team in front of him, look at the teams that are in the middle of the standings its their goalies keeping them in the race.

People always find this ridiculous but the Oilers aren't any worse without 97. They tend to win more than they lose when he is out of the lineup. Think of the $ they'd save. Trade him and have your pick of most other franchise d core and 1st round picks. Only gotta win by 1. Imagine if upper management could get over this idea of the Edmonton Oiler hotrod run and gun with the best player in the world idea. I don't even dislike the guy. We need to understand that this roster is playing the BEST it can. We did not lose from a lack of effort. This is not a coaching issue, this is not an effort issue. - This game should be a wake up call for us. We need speed in our bottom 6 again. We need a Cody Ceci type defence-man. We need grit from someone who forechecks with ZERO regard for their own safety. We are lacking in 2 important areas. 1) Better first passes out of the zone (Harder to fix) 2) Make their defence regret touching the puck (Easier to fix + forces turnovers)

It's possible bros that there's teams better than McChicken David's team. I mean, last year's I checked it was the Lightingts, the Golden Knights, the Penguins and the Washington Capitals that where making waves. 😮 And many others.
