Marcelito has a unique GIMMICK and maybe Simon is just tired of the GIMMICK...GIMMICKS have a way of wearing off for some people. Anyone can sing in a falsetto voice and then go over to their NORMAL range of voice but Marcelito takes it to ANOTHER LEVEL. I have enjoyed all of his performances. Just watched Feb. 10th show. There are two singers, two circus acts, two dance groups, a dog show, a shadow group, a fiddler and Hans. Who's the winner?I don't know! Psst, hey. 😁 have you ever think about it if "what if" You mention that agt is becoming a drama thing for television right? So what if they are doing this on purpose to raise the rating, what if marcelito is in for the ride as well? I've watch something like this before making Marcelito as the main character of the show and Simon as the villian. What if they told marcelito to make a video that they already picked a song for him and still simon still made that comment because it will surely become a trend and they are using you to make all this side video so they can benefit of it. Well, in a way most the performers are "in on it" because they signed a contract with AGT and the contract does spell out how the show producers can manipulate the story. Often times the manipulation does make the act look better. Sometimes it's just better to also not say anything because these acts don't want to be kicked off the show. And yes, they can be kicked off per contract. And I'm sure most hope the show producers know what they are doing and hope that it's for the better. But it's never that easy to tell what's really going on until someone tells the full story. And most performances are can't do so per contract as well.

I've been watching the show for years and i have able to read some comments like the organizers were giving the contestant a list of songs to chose from.then once a song will be pick it will go thru the organizers again for the final decision if they will allow it. I really felt that all this talent show wants drama,more drama more views..that's why sometimes I hate those sob stories being shown before a performance cause sometimes they just based their votes due to sob stories and not for the talent.. I think Marcelito wants to express or say what really happened in the show but he was afraid he might breech the contract he signed with AGT ( maybe he realized it that's why he deleted the video).. For me Simon wants Marcelito to showcase what he got..he challenges him but I think Simon was not totally happy for what Marcelito did. Maybe he was expecting lots of acrobatic runs,change of genre,etc..I remember he also said to Eric Chein (during last year AGT regular season) that he should do his magic act big for the finals but Eric didn't do it so Eric Chein lost the competition.i think it's the same with Shin Lim and Shin Lim actually took the challenge very well and he won.. Lastly I do believe that Simon and the organizers were giving guidelines for the contestant to follow in regards with their talents..

@@RK-ig8gc yes we didn't saw it cause AGT told him that they don't have enough time and even Eric said that he don't have enough time to practise it so he decided to change or shorten his act for the finale thus making his act not so big/ grand as what Simon wants him to do..so in the end he lost it... My point is AGT/organizers got something to do or got influence to the contestants performance.Their decisions really got some effect to the outcome of each performance..

I think the reason why AGT leaked the video because they want to solicit reactions. Why it was only Marcelito's performance was leaked? I believe the super fans is not real. If its indeed real then it must be rigged! AGT has sole authority as who they want to win. Its a big time business. They manipulate results makes lots money based on viewers reactions. In other countries like my home country- Philippines, the finals is done live and the voting as well from the viewers. There's a time frame allowed for voting and there are auditors to safeguard the voting process. The results are authentic!

If the controversy of AGT is concerned the obvious reason is that the winner should be an AMERICAN. Angelica Hale, best child singer of her season lose to an American child puppeteer. The judges has no say about that because it's a country's manipulated vote by the show. The AGT producers are like India to V. Unbeatable, they see the talent but they say it's poor showmanship.
