I'm sure when the founding fathers of this country wrote the constitution, they probably had no idea that anyone but Christians would inhabit the United States. However, since they thought religious freedom important enough to safeguard it, we have to be prepared for our government to regard all religions equally whether we agree with them or not. If we are to be truly free-if church and state are to be truly separate, then we can't regard one religion over another.

Do you know anything about the history of this nation? Do you know why Thomas Jefferson had to kick the Anglican Church out of Virginia? Where the preamble declares, that coercion is a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed, by inserting the word "Jesus Christ," so that it should read, "a departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion;" the insertion was rejected by a great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mahometan, the Hindoo, and Infidel of every denomination. The founding fathers were not Christians. They were Dieists. They believed that God created the iniverse and then left us to sort things out for ourselves. Jefferson mentioned a number of different kinds of religions that he said should be permited to exist freely in the USA. He said "Neither the Jews nor the Pagan nor the Mohamedan shouldbe for4bide3n from parciticng theire religions." He also said "People should be free to worship one God, many Gods, or no God." He clearly new quite a lot about other religions that already were, or might in the future, be practiced in ther USA.

I am a theistic Satanist of lifetime experience. I came to this video, hating atheistic Satan ism and I still hate it. The video, however, was actually very interesting. I need more information if I can control my urge to throw up, if I can put duct tape over the mouth of my inner critic. It has been said that every religion begins with a mystic and ends in politics. In keeping with the Satanic methodology of doing things in reverse; the politicians came first. I think, however, this is a good thing. They have prepared the ground for the arrival of the real thing. Myself, and others. Stay tuned, folks, this story of the modern Satanic is not over!

'Oh my god' is a colloquial expression. Technically it's blasphemy. So it has nothing to do with whether out not that person actually believes in god. If I say 'holy crap!' it doesn't mean I believe in divine turds. As for heaven and hell, please do prove that either one exists. The Satanic Temple doesn't believe that Satan is real. He's employed as a metaphor for rebellion against tyranny.
