Dying laughing at Marshall entering the shot rowing a canoe! I could tell from the thumbnail that he would be a hoot. But behind the outgoing personality and fun spirit, you can tell there is a kind, loving person. His empathy for you, Jenny, when you would get choked up or emotional, was so apparent. Reaching out for you, hugging you. Wonderful person. I loved that you guys squeezed in a tour and talked about the effects of excessive rain on plants and the work that Proven Winners has done in that area. Very interesting. I live in Kentucky and we get a lot of rain too. I need to remember to feed my plants more because I hadn't thought about the leaching of nutrients.

What a Blessing it is to have people who love, care for us & pray for us! 🙏 ❤️ The Great Lord Above knows our needs better than we do ourselves. Not to mention, many times it seems that we have to deal with awful circumstances in order for others to be able to be a Blessing to us. It's easy to be a giver (which you are). But one of the hardest things to do is to be a graceful receiver. I love doing for others. But yet I didn't really want others to know when I was struggling. That is until one day, an elderly and very wise woman from my church gently told me. She said... "The word tells us that it is better to give than receive. So when we deny someone else their opportunity to be a giver, we deny them their Blessings". I had never looked at it that way before and she was so correct. Made my heart smile when people close by you, reached out to come and help and you told them to come on! ❤️ And your gardens are looking just as beautiful as always. Thank you for sharing your garden after the storm so that we can see how PW plants fare from so much water. My home in Texas has received a lot of rain as well, but without an overflowing creek nearby. Have learned so much from your channel about drains and redirecting water so that my yard does not become a swamp ! Also, may I ask about your rain gauge that was in the supertunia bed on the patio? I would really love to replace mine with something so much nicer. Thank you again for all your heart and inspiration. PS The plants I pre ordered arrived and can't wait to plant them . 😀

Proven Winners has cornered the market on unique, tremendously hardy, beautiful plants. The newest varieties across the board, past three years, have been such improvements that I have dug out older varieties of some plants and replaced them. I have also taken out roses and hostas, and replaced with Proven Winners Pugster Blue, and Double Doozie spirea. The colors are stupendous. Worth the investment.
