Post Surgery Update!

I can’t stop thinking about Melanie since I heard that she passed away yesterday. It’s just so hard to believe that someone so vibrant, healthy and full of love and life has left this world. I wasn’t a crafter and therefore not a regular watcher of her videos and I’m not on Instagram, so had no idea she was sick. I found her channel many years ago (when she was living in Hawaii) through her sister in law Rachel and I was in awe of what a gorgeous, confident, capable young woman she was ( I now know she was 2 years younger than me). I was so shocked when I heard she’d died, and I can’t make any sense of what has happened - it’s just so unfair!!! If I someone who has never even met her feels like this, I just can’t imagine how her family and especially her husband and children are coping with losing her. I’m so sorry for this unimaginable loss ❤️🥲xx

Just wanted you to know I was diagnosed in April of this year with stage 4 breast cancer. It had spread to all my bones. There was even a tumor on my sciatica nerve, I got were I couldn’t even walk. I had fracture hip due to the cancer. My family was told I had 6 month. People all over the world prayed for me. And I told the doctors from the beginning that God’s Got This. They told me I would never walk again. I told them I would. I had a new pet scan done in August because I was doing so well. Went to the doctor for her to tell me the results, she came into the room and said do you know what your results are.? I said no, she smile and said I was cancer free!!!! Just to let you know God answers prayers. I’m walking with a walker right now and will not be long before I get off of that. God still preforms miracles. I will be praying for you.

I have wasnt aware that she had passed until reading further comments. She was so young and full of life. The family will need lots of prayers and encouragement. My husband if 51 years went to be with lord April 4th 2021. May God be with you all through the grief. Hold each other up in prayer. It won't be easy, unbearable at times. God be with you.
