Something's wrong with the video. Every few seconds, it repeats the same information, like it's stuck in a loop.

I’m making a little quilt for the first time for my cousins baby! My cousin gave me all of these beautiful fabrics when I was little and I realized I still had quite a a bit of it lying around, so I decided to learn to quilt to make a little tummy time quilt for her and her baby :) after reading these comments it breaks my heart to learn the woman who made this tutorial has passed away. Thank you so much to her and her family for these excellent videos, so we can keep her legacy going in our crafts ❤

I first found this channel June of 2024....I watched and made my first quilt following all of Melanies instructions. At the time I had no idea she was not with us.....I now have made 2 large bedspread/quilts using patchwork method and now on my third bedspread/quiltand made lots of potholders learning cutting and piecing.....Melanie is my inspiration....I finally watched the documentary, smiling and weeping throughout! What a gift taken away too soon.....BUT, she lives on through her channel and content. When I have questions with my crafts I go to her channel first....THANK YOU to her family for continuing this channel, it truly is still touching lives just as Melanie wanted ❤

This was the best beginner video I’ve seen on quilting. Extremely helpful. All the other videos go into too much detail, but this is encouraging and makes me feel like I might actually be able to do it lol. Thank you!!!

Hi, thanks for this. I am beginning to learn this. I always thought you must have a different sewing machine for doing this. You showed it so easy and I enjoyed the uttering, very good. I know what my next sewing project will be. But first I will look at the other videos from you. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for this patient, versatile guide. You don't just make it look easy, you teach so clearly that you make it easy *to do*! I'm almost done making my first-ever hat, my first-ever real project! I'm using Red Heart Super Saver Stripes yarn, and the color changes line up perfectly with this pattern! I had been having trouble double-crocheting, but after 3 rows, I reached a pure zen flow-state where my fingers knew exactly where to go, my tension became even and consistent, and I can't stop admiring the symmetry of each stitch. This is my new therapy-- I'm hooked! I'm going to make hats for each of my family members for Christmas this year. Thank you for gifting me with the confidence to do that! After I've finished all those hats, all that practice with double crochet will have prepared me for the final boss of all projects... A queen-sized crocodile stitch blanket! Best of luck to all aspiring crochet queens out there! Stick with it, that zen state feels amazing when it finally just carries you like an ocean wave of awesome!

Question??? I've made 2 quilts now. Getting frustrated. My question is about the walking foot. Does this stop the bunching up of the bottom fabric. When I'm sewing down the quilt by the time I get to the bottom of the quilt. My bottom fabric is 2 inches shorter than the top fabric..
