My friend has chickens, turkeys and peacocks!.. I help her feed them and the will almost eat anything she gives them! Keep up the awesome videos honeybee ❤

As long as the chickens get their vitamins and minerals, they will eat almost everything. If they eat lots of food that smell strong, it can effect the taste of the eggs. It's not recommended to feed chickens raw meat, because of risk of disease.

Was coming to say the same, salmonella can make chickens sick too. And very strong tasting foods come through to eggs.

Birds mostly learn what foods are good to eat at a young age, so adults tend to be more hesitant to new foods. It would be a cool experiment to feed the chicks some shrimp when they've grown up to see if they remember eating it in the past and still like it.

Shrimp isn't that strange for chickens. They're arthropods just like many of the other insects that are part of their normal diet.

None of my hens (4years old +) would eat shrimp but one Rhodie, and they love corn in all its varieties. When the temps get 90+°F I give them frozen corn and they seem to appreciate it, like a human eating a popsicle on a hot day 😄

The shrimp should be a delight for them since shrimp are basically under water insects. Actually I have a question too. Does having your own chickens make you reluctant to eat store bought chicken now?

They'll eat anything. Mine ate slugs. If you can eat a slug, you're not very picky.

Chickens will usually eat anything, they are the dirtiest animals of the world. By the way, every time I go to Walmart I look for the same yellow Croc like shoes that you have but I never see them. My son said they sell the Name brand Crocs in yellow but I’m not spending almost $50 for Crocs. lol

Those wasp are they black & white? They actually are bald face hornets. A species of paper wasp. They nest can get huge and the size of a basketball and overtime, they will get vicious as the nest gets bigger.
