In the woods the 10,000 lumen setting is better, it doesn't reflect off the close trees and over saturate the video like the 100,000 lumen setting does. That 100,000 would be great for a field or large room.

Lovely walk around your property, it's nice to see the changes. The bracken looks really healthy. It would be interesting to take a sample of that water and put it under a microscope, see what lives in it. Those look like fox gloves by the leaves..

I think with the light using the fan it might be more likely to overheat and fail, and also it might prevent you from hearing a predator approach. On the other hand, a predator hears that sound coming, they might just get the heck out of there! So, I'm on the fence about the fan. Either setting, the camera picks up enough sights.

I do a lot of walking/hiking in the woods. Been doing a decent amount in the dark with days getting so much shorter. I don't worry about the animals, but I do keep a look out for orbweaver spider webs. They like to make huge webs across trails and sit in the middle of them. If you aren't careful you'll end up with a huge spider on your face.

I vote for no fan noise. On camera it doesn't matter so much if it's a little less bright and it's much more peaceful without the noise.
