Reacting to NHL Jersey Concepts!

Thanks for having my content back on! The jet is made out of the Trashers T btw with an addition to it to make it more like the jet. Also the Rangers colors were to represent the colors of the Statue of Liberty. The leafs jersey is based on the Toronto Bulls jersey. The Vegas jersey had a red flower on the inside of the jersey which was made before Flower got traded so I'd remove that now obviously but I thought honoring Flower at the time was appropriate. The Pens logo is used in the AHL and would love to see it as an alt logo in the NHL. Finally the Islanders I feel would wear dark blue pants.

That Winnipeg jersey is genius, especially the logo. He's taken Atlanta's secondary logo and flipped it upside down to form a recreation of current Jets logo. Well executed.

Regarding the Columbus jersey. Isn't multiple disractions good? Having your eyes go everywhere makes sense if to appreciate the whole jersey. The neck with the stars is eye catching, the stars on the sleeves are eye catching, the logo in the middle pops, the numbers on the arms are cool, the lines are clean... The more that catches your eye the better provided it's a nice jersey. I think the jersey is strategically well designed. From top to bottom, left to right theres something to appreciate. You can split up a jersey in to 6 areas: neck, shoulders, arm, sleeve, torso and bottom. That jersey has something perticular on them all except thr shoulders and bottom, subdued patches (interesting in itself the usually aren't) and nothing but clean lines. But overall it works well. 1. Kings 2. Blue Jackets 3. Capitals 4. Devils 5. Sharks I do like the Knights and Islanders a lot too. Side note, I really want more jerseys that pops like the islanders and Panthers jersey, bright teal and orange is fantastic, so is pink and light blue, shame the gradient was vertical (don't like that at all). Gradient should always be horizontal. I want 12 players popping of color on the ice. Imagine Panthers and Islanders playing in those colors, on a black ice rink with black boards and brighter painted goal frames and white puck. Reversing how we're used to it :D

There was amazing design In this video. My favorite one are (no order): Blue Jackets, Kings, Habs, Devils, Sabre and Sharks. The King's one in particular is one of the best design I have seen.

That Islanders jersey is very interesting. It’s based off of the fisherman look, but the logos are the basic ones… Hmmm…. I feel if it was like a darker teal, but not too much of a darker teal, I’d get it.

NHL Jersey Concepts -- Top 6: Boston Bruins would be number 6. The meth bear as the shoulder patches works wonders. Columbus Blue Jackets would be number 5. Love the numbers, big and bounty. Ottawa Senators would be number 4. By default, this sweater looks great. Minnesota Wild would be number 3. Pine green and off-white are a great combo contrast. Calgary Flames would be number 2. The neck IS distracting but "Blasty" is not. San Jose Sharks would be number 1. At first, I hadn't noticed the gradient of the sea and all its mysteries. Bottom 6: Edmonton Oilers would be number 27. Working on the oil rig with a hockey stick does not do the job. Seattle Kraken would be number 28. The lower section of the jersey reminds me of a woman's butt when she was spread eagle. Vancouver Canucks would be number 29. The suspenders appear foolish, especially for a pro. hockey team's jersey. Pittsburgh Penguins would be number 30. The bird looks suspect...curiousor and curiousor... New York Rangers would be number 31. Lady Liberty in two shades of green looks like she's under the weather. Florida Panthers would be number 32. The gradient from pink to sky blue (right to left) is bothersome. Possibly, signs of a sunburn. Fabulous work, Gordon!

I really like Vegas, Dallas and LA (The Islanders isn't terrible either) My biggest complaint was that I feel there were a lot of doubled jersey designs. A couple of them can't be helped but Buffalo matched with Edmonton, Nashville with Pittsburg and New Jersey with Nashville as well. Just my opinion though

I think red on a Leafs jersey would work if the ONLY thing that was red was the text on the leaf. NOTHING ELSE. Kind of like how the Los Angeles Dodgers have a red jersey number that pops but EVERYTHING ELSE is white and blue. Same approach.

hey Neil, i thought the jersey with the overalls was pretty funny 😃 and i really liked the Tampa Bay Lightning one that you said looked like it wasn't finished. Also, i liked the Islanders jersey concept, it was definitely different. it was like Jersey-ception. you also asked in this video that if there was anything you were doing wrong, that people would let you know. my Only critique that i have is the way you mispronounce Adidas. it's correctly pronounced as ADI-das with the emphasis being put on the first three letters of the word. overall, i really do enjoy your channel very much, i especially enjoy your " That's what she said " jokes lol those are always good. like i said, it's just that one little pronunciation aspect of the word Adidas that i wanted to mention, i'm totally cool with everything else you do on the channel.

Florida Panthers - borderline perfect, every team should embrace a neon retro theme as a novelty jersey Los Angeles Kings - very nice 2020's take on a classic color theme New York Rangers - the patina isn't wrong at all, but has to be thought out better...I think less is more San Jose Sharks - this might be the best gradient used in context to the theme of a team Vancouver Canucks - lol, I'm out

Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. The Golden Knights concept is the best of all these N.H.L team concepts in my personal view. I feel that a lot but not all the team Logos are to small. The Lightning concept it absolutely crazy & not in a good way it's not good for the eyes at all it might look better in blue but in black it's not good. Keep Safe.

Fair, I went for the Johnny Canuck green and blue logo where it is just one color and recolored it to be the red. That's also why the sleeves are white, it's his arms. I'd love them to go all out flannel pattern though

I sent these in a while back. I took inspiration from the heat and not long after I submitted a lot more seemed to be showing up on the channel. I think it's more so multiple people got a similar idea at the same time and they just keep showing up cause of the submission back up.
