Postcards from Spain (Marching Band, Randall Standridge)

Colorful rhythms and melodies inspired by the beautiful country of Spain come to life in this thrilling new production by Randall Standridge. The show opens with a trumpet fanfare that quickly gives way to a jazzy opener. The soulful middle section will provide an opportunity for you players to demonstrate their more expressive side, before launching into a percussion feature with optional drum parts for the winds! This show is written in our "Developing Band" format, which features optional careful attention to range demand, melody lines transposed for all instruments, optional low brass bass doubles, limited sideline percussion, and cueing on all electronic elements.

I hope everything is going OK for you we also have this song and while yes you’ll be playing it fast you’ll be marching it a different speed so I hope that doesn’t intimidate you you should be marching it a different speed than playing it you shouldn’t be marching as fast as you’re playing- and if he’s expecting that of a high school band I don’t know-
