Shad Khan has only cleaned house thoroughly one time, which was after 2012 when he fired Mularkey and Gene Smith and brought in Gus Bradley and Dave Caldwell. Ever since, it's been half measures. After 2016, Gus Bradley was fired but Dave Caldwell stayed with Coughlin coming in to push all the buttons and cover up for DC. In 2019, Coughlin himself was obviously fired but he still held onto Doug Marrone and DC. After 2020, once again Marrone and DC were fired but Baalke was a holdover from being hired on a year earlier and promoted from within. The problem in my opinion starts at the top, because Shad Khan tends to hire the wrong people for this organization and then becomes reluctant to let them go.

He also needs to open the door for Trent and have security walk him out for good. It seems that Trent has a track record doing this, i.e San Fransisco. Doug Peterson also has a part to play because he may not have a personality as he once had. As an owner the focus needs to be on winning and building a winning culture. No hussle, no fundamentals, and again, our receivers can't catch the football when it hits them in the hands. I was at the game and i stg it felt like Buffalo was at practice and the coaches told the defense to chill out and let the offense get into a rhythm.. I'm a bills fan and i was upset that i had to leave in the middle of the 3rd qtr cuz the game was that much of a joke!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on the two drives coming out of halftime whete the ball was actually moving down the field (and Kirk was being fed), it looked to me from the sideline shots during those drives that Doug was calling plays, not Press. Did he take over at halftime to give the team the only minor spark they had in that game? I mean, obviously it was too late to do anything to come back from the worst halftime deficit in team history, but I have to find something positive somewhere.

It’s just time to clean house from top to bottom. Trent,Doug, press, and anyone that came with them should be clearing out the building. And Nelson after that defensive showing yesterday. He ain’t safe either he’s rotating your best guys out too much. You keep your best guys on the field because you’ve paid them to play like starters.
