This series is just vague enough that there are so many possibilities about what's going on. I love it. I think that the main character, who a lot of us refer to as "Post" suffers from insomnia and has schizoid personality disorder, resulting in him being so apathetic. I think when he doesn't sleep, he kills, and I think the demon like creatures that visit him are his victims trying to torment him. I think he tried to seek help for whatever was wrong mentally. The sticky note on his computer in the first video says "Life is an icecream" which is super random, but makes me think it was an analogy given to him by a doctor to try and be more hopeful of things. It's Post's voice we hear in the following video "Enjoy it before it melts." But again, I think this was part of some sort of therapy to try and help him feel more. He listens to music specifically for stress management, but he doesn't seem all that stressed. He seems more like an apathetic shell. But it also says the music can help induce deep sleep and relaxation. If he's suffering from insomnia, he'd be more likely to hallucinate. Perhaps he killed people while hallucinating? I think he makes youtube videos when he can't sleep. I think he used to watch them and now he's started making his own, but he's killing. He tries to cover it up and lie about it (Encounter Update) and everyone in his life thinks he's just hallucinating because of the insomnia. (His mother says it's a lack of confidence in Constraint Tutorial, but she has no idea that he's killing.) He even mentions wanting to try and get some sleep. A friend recommends he needs to try and eat better (so he eats the head of lettuce in Eating Healthy.) They're blind to what's really going on and he's not getting the real help he needs. In Error, once again he says "I just want to sleep." As for the house, I think he's staying in the houses of his victims. There's plastic on everything, which I think he does himself. From the few seconds we see in both videos, I'm convinced it's not even the same house. (The wallpaper is different.) He's afraid to leave his room at first, but we know he was going outside because we saw him in the street in a previous video. He talks a lot about the things "behind you" or behind him, which means focusing on the future. Again, I think this was something told to him in therapy. I think he clings to things like the stress / sleep music on youtube, so it feels strange to change it up like he does in 'Trial." I'm still looking into this and I guess there's like a blog connected to this channel with much more information. I can't wait to dive deeper. I know OP is never going to break character, but dude, this series is GREAT.

Post, please be wary of that letter. It's nice to see that you have devoted fans but hell, you get a message even though the sender shouldn't know where you live? And why are there shards of glass, did they smash a window to get the letter to you? Not to forget, someone records your dreams (against your will obviously). Also, the writer is either lying or completely off the track. "The question of real or false doesn't matter to them so why should it matter to you?" is manipulation or nonsense. Your opinion on "real or false" is yours alone, it matters to you or it doesn't. But it certainly does NOT depend on whether it matters to "them" or not. While I'm happy to see that the thing around your neck is no longer a rope but a scarf, that you managed to get yourself a blanket, don't vomit (that much) anymore, made it out of your room / downstairs and even out of the house...
