Do not worry about Lukas' fitness levels. He's probably top in the squad there already. His numbers last season showed a level above anyone else in the Swedish league and that league has some maraton-runners in it.

Another good Gold & Guest podcast and I enjoyed the game against Hearts, in paticular the second half with the younger players from the academy, and like you thought Djed Spence played well, I feel he's been unlucky with his Spurs experience, he was bought in when Conte was there and he didn't really want him so he was never given a chance, but it was great to see him having a go and I thought worth keeping but time will tell, but I was impressed with the second half and how they all played along with our new signings

If it’s true that Djed Spence has a bit of an attitude problem, I wouldn’t be surprised if ange has been very deliberate in his comments so as not to let the guy think he’s suddenly the guy…maybe it’s just a bit of man management and see where it goes from there?

Another benefit of Djed Spence is pace, you mentioned going forward, but he could be matching Van Der Ven for recovery pace in the back line, if Micky doesnt make the tour.

I personally think Mr. Gold is too cautious with the youth players and it’s a symptom of the greater problem with English football, how Gold speak so timidly of getting more game time for Moore, while Lamine Yamal won the Euros playing with people who were 22 years old when he was born (Jesus Navas). England keep bottle necking their youngsters and Germany will keep reaping those rewards i.e Jude

Not on the Bingo card. I would have put serious cash down that Djed would not play a minute for Spurs. His personality seems pretty dark. A goal & an assist & I didn't see a smile. I know that Ange wants players loving to play. Everybody loves a redemption arc & a bit of nastiness can be good for a team. Stoichov transformed Barca by adding mongrel to a pure team.

Just Gray and Bergval in and then only Roden sold for any income. With a month left until the first game, it has been a slow and frustrating window so far. Would have expected a couple more out and someone else in, even with the Euros. I do hope there won’t be any last minute Sissoko or Frazier Campbell type rubbish panic signings at the last minute.

This window is pretty odd. I think FFP has really impacted all. English clubs are not going overs for Euro players. Arsenal are haggling with $33M for Califiori, which seems amazing. European clubs are largely broke. Tottenham are wealthy, so I see real bargains this year, but they will be late in the window.
