Thank you! Since I rid myself of all chairs (except one for exercise use) and now sit on the floor, my whole body improved. As an aside, your new set-up, twilight-purple background with green lights, is visually relaxing, a deep-sea effect.

Thanks for noticing the new setup!!! Will be going deeper on that soon!

Hey man! I want to say thank you very much! I will share your content because you are the only one I saw that knows were the problems are. Thanks to you my forward neck posture is gone! I don’t know how to repay you back! 😚😚😚

Great info. I'm quite certain I have posterior tilt, however, I don't have back issues. I don't like the way it looks like I don't have a backside. I don't have a weight problem, look ok from front view. Thank you.
@ChaplinPerformance Жыл бұрын
Best way to improve the backside issue is progressive strength training! Gotta grow those glutes!
@danagreer4465 Жыл бұрын
Love your videos. I do have glutes,however I think would look better if I had more of a anterior tilt in lower back spine. I just don't want to cause damage. Thank you.

Hey Chaplin, can you cover how should we stand, what sensations should we feel in our feet, knees and so on, what if someone has flat feet etc. in relation to a good posture?
@ChaplinPerformance3 жыл бұрын
Hi there. This is going to depend on the individual and their specific limitations
@ChaplinPerformance3 жыл бұрын
However, for someone with flatter feet, if they are deficient in ER, I would tend to shift weight into heels, and make sure to have contact on the inner aspect of the heel, and base of the big and little toes while maintaining somewhat of an arch.
@michalr82763 жыл бұрын
@@ChaplinPerformance I'm sorry, I watched couple of your videos, but I don't know what is ER. Can you explain the abbreviation? By the way, I want to thank you so much for your videos. For many years I thought I have about 2 cm leg length discrepancy, but thanks to you I know I just had rotated hip. Maybe there is a small length difference, but definitely not 2 cm which was frustrating and painful. You are a godsend. Now I have a bit curved spine to one side. Are you planning to do some videos to straighten spine after living with rotated hip? Thank you
@darrenwastestime2 жыл бұрын
This was exactly my problem, thank you! Is there a type of chair that facilitates this kind of sitting? Perhaps a saddle chair?
@darrenwastestime2 жыл бұрын
I'll try different cushions, maybe thick foam ones for consistent height
@ChaplinPerformance2 жыл бұрын
I’d suggest just actively mixing up the position by sitting in different positions and taking frequent breaks. Aside from one solid ergonomically supportive office chair, most other chairs are a waste of 💰

Awesome content! So if i have good hip flexion in the supine knee flexion test but my straight leg raise is 45 degrees, does that mean my supine hip flexion actually is not genuine and i cant really access 90?
@ChaplinPerformance3 жыл бұрын
Yes this is likely the case. You would probably find it’s easier to sit more upright through your low back and pelvis with the legs slightly pointed out to the sides
