Im an SEC fan. At the end of the day we think all your teams are frauds and most of your conferences are fake. That said weve been waiting atleast 30 years for Oregon hype to finally be a real threat. Instead theyre piuny quick and pretenders with a lot of cool uniforms. The definition of a gimmick. Today just because of rankings yall have the nerve to call the Pac 10 the #2 conference in the NCAA. Really 😢. Soo what happens if I stick Oregon Utah or Stanfords defensive line against the biggest non Sec offensive line in about three seconds? Go win little buddy.

He had no choice. He had to come out like this because he has been running his mouth big time and the players are the ones who have to back up his talk. He has refused to be humble, or act like he's been there before. He put a target on his teams back and that's not fair to his players. Humility and to be humble in victory and to respect his opponents will be key. He had the whole world on his side until he got to Colorado. People noticed how he treated hold over players/coaches from previous year and it was embarrassing. To claim to be a Christian and treat others that way is wrong. This job has gone to his head and I hope he comes out of it a better person.

I'm a lifelong Oregonian. I've watched our team grow from the rough beat down in 1994ish from Penn state in the Bowl game to playing in a couple of National championships. Deon is very great coach and an even better man. I knew going into this game that, while Colorado has a bunch of new names and whole bunch of juice flowing through their team, they were running into a buzz saw in our team....in Autzen. I have zero doubt that Colorado will get through this season and be an unrecognizable team within 3 season. Keep your heads up buffs, we have been in your shoes and we got to see just how much better things can be. You will see it too.

He just rubbed his gold jacket in the faces of all the coaches and players. He said he'd dominate the coaches on the field if they were playing. He stupidly and accidentally answers in the affirmative when asked "Do you think you paint a target on the back of your team" when he answers "They're trying to beat me, not my team". That's a yes folks. He strokes his own ego with the above statements, then proceeds to throw his team under the bus by saying "This is the worst we'll ever be, so you better get me now". He just said his current team is the worst team he'll ever have. Don't bother trying to explain it away, I know all the ways you're rephrase it and paraphrase and make excuses for him. These statements are all stupid and unecessary. The sad part is, most of his team will not recognize how insulting he has just been to them. Deion ironically is both his teams greatest blessing and biggest curse. The Buck stops here===> (Deion) He is making his own job and the job of his coaches and team, MUCH harder.

Duck fan here, but also a Colorado fan because of what these guys represent. I love that Sanders talks about building his team up instead of tearing them down. When I played, we were a great team. We played together, we won together, we lost together. North Medford High School was a consistently dominant team, but it was because of the culture that was bred by the coaching staff and the support system (parents & locals) who built us up day in and day out. We were a representation of where we came from. It wasn't just about X's and O's. It was a culture. I love that Mr. Sanders is instilling that in the way he carries himself and the way he considers himself a father to these young men. I looked at my coaches like father figures just the same as they looked at us like their sons. They cared immensely about us just as much as we cared about doing right by each other and making them proud to be our coaches.

At the time I saw this video post, Dan Lanning -- the coach of the WINNING team -- had 320K views. Prior to watching Lanning, I went to hear what Coach Prime had to share with the press. His video had OVER 2 MILLION views. So, even in a game when the (clearly insecure, IMO) coach wins, the public interest remains 3X stronger for the "Little Engine That Could". Let's face it, Oregon was 21-pt favorites because they're a powerful team with a talented QB (BTW, WTF is going on with players still in college at ages 25-30?!?!). Everyone pretty much knew CU would not overcome. And while ppl didn't think the loss would be this bad, Coach Sanders showed grace, candor, and continued honesty about their shortcomings. Dan Lanning, on the other hand, couldn't even be honest about his jealousy-- "...not reading any of the articles this week". He said. Now that is TOTAL BS. Otherwise, how could he have possibly given that pre-game pep talk?? Seems quite contrary and does not compute. My theory: Lanning (and other traditional coaches) are very scared of LOSING good players to Coach Prime's style, energy, and stratospheric popularity bestowed upon an entire team. Statistically, to ANY college football viewer not beholden to their own alma mater's team (my wife is loyal to her Buckeyes), CU Buffaloes are still America's #1 favorite for 2023.

Most notable to me is if you look compared to other teams his inside players aren't as big as most other D1 schools but just wait. Congrats to the Ducks in a good home win.. It's amazing for this man (Prime) to put a team together from the freaking ground, then fly halfway across the country to walk through someone else's tunnel with a group of young men half of which probably don't even know what jet-lag is yet. Walk out with your best eleven (11), and line up against a team that's been in the top (10) probably the last (5) years or more. Especially when you have what may be the best pure football player in the country, (T Hunter) and you're facing all of this without him. And still walk up to the podium cool and calm and not complain about officiating or trash anybody. Everybody was held accountable, get on the plane, let's go. We got things to fix.. Nothing but class. They will be the best team in the country, and soon.. Recruits will flock there to play for this man, plain and simple..🏈🏆

Why is it on the other person and not on you? Because everyone has the power of choice, the power of thought and the spoken word with the power to control his or her own thinking, speaking, feeling, acting, and reacting. It is each person's God-given responsibility to do this and mind his or her own business! It is a 24/ 7 job trying to keep your own thoughts, words, feelings, actions, and reactions in line with what you want to accomplish in life to the glory of God! You share and help those who want the knowledge you have and are willing to receive it! If they don't want it and don't agree with it, it is their freedom of choice to reject it! You stay in your mindset and continue to move forward and upward with those who are like-minded! Never allow yourself to stay stuck! Keep growing and moving forward! This is why Deion had to leave Jackson State and go to Colorado. He is saying each individual is only accountable for what what that individual person thinks, speaks, feels, acts, and reacts to and not what someone else thinks, speaks, or feels about him . No one else has any power to control your life unless you give them power by receiving and agreeing with what they think, speak or feel about you. If what someone else thinks, speaks, and feels about you is helpful, encouraging, and will make you better, and your Spirit agrees with it, then you receive what they are thinking, speaking, and feeling about you snd use it to make you get better results in life and grow into a better person expressing more of God. . .
