How many Bears fans were optimistic at the beginning of the season? I know I wasn’t. Not because I can see the future. But rather, I have seen in the past. Sorry to tell you this fellow Bears fans, but this is a really bad team, and an even exponentially worse coaching staff! They should’ve gotten rid of the coaching staff last year, but this is the issue with having the McCaskeys in charge as owners. You can’t piecemeal a team together; one year get a GM, the next year get a coach. You have to bring them both in at the same time. For a family that supposedly descended from one of the founders of the NFL they have no idea of how to run a football organization. They know how to make money as a franchise, but they don’t know how to run a football operation so they will never, ever win a Super Bowl. Enjoy your future, Bears fans… I feel sorry for Caleb - that he came to such a sorry organization and will likely wind up suffering the same fate as previous potential “franchise” QB’s that we’re brought in by the Chicago Bears. The Bears franchise SUCKS!

Even when Calib has time, HIS THROWS ARE UNCATCHABLE. Why is not anybody blaming Calib. When he has time, he has 3 top receivers and a really good tight end. you telling me they can never get open, but maybe ONCE A GAME. Its either 3 receivers and tight end are BAD, or Calib is bad delivering the ball. Ok sacked 6 times, What about the 20 times he's not sacked.

I think its going be more hate towards the coaches than him. To me all this shows is doesn't matter how talented the QB is, if the coaching staff and key positions are sus, you will never, ever be the team you use to be in your glory days. So tbh, Poles's head should be at risk too despite he did get some good players here, he also has an issue of letting go known bad players until its literally to late.

The Bears are so poor, so incompetent it is hard to put into words. Williams is looking like a bust. He has no composure. He looks ill prepared. He looks shaky, lost and clueless. But it is not just Williams. It is across the board. The offensive line is shocking. The playcalling is pathetic. No standards. No cohesion. EVERYTHING!!! There are zero signs of even adequate preparation and coaching. The whole thing needs blowing up and we need a GM, a coaching staff who are going to raise the standards to that of an NFL team. Really is about coaching; Jayden Daniels would look similarly if he landed here. Poor route concepts, multiple receivers in same areas. When you look at Stroud , Jordan Love, Daniels , every game you see a certain amount of just wide open throws to receiver running free. If he survives this season behind the turnstile O-line, Caleb could be as good as any of these guys, if you bring in a proper offensive minded head coach. I’d hoped it was Waldron but doesn’t look like it right now. Likely they only win a couple more games this season, then flush the coaching staff again. They should be able to beat Patriots Sunday, but after that the schedule looks rough…..

There is one positive from this poop sandwich of a team- The mask is off. Flus is dead coach walking. A few wins against bad teams would have deodorized the stink coming off this team, but it would have been washed away when the schedule tightened up late and the blowouts (which are coming) would have arrived. At least the disappointment is out of the way early. Clean house (sooner than later), you can't let Poles choose another HC- Flus is the second albatross around his neck (the first is not getting an oline together). Fire him, all the coaching staff, promote Cunningham and go from there. But know that with the McCaskey curse they probably will extend (if they have not already) this losing coach in the name of "continuity".....
