Allowing 39 points to New Mexico is not good. This team will not lay a 60 burger every week. Hopefully it was just first game jitters, but to be honest our defense kind of sucks. If we can't fix that our ceiling is 7-8 wins and a crappy bowl game.

Just stick with the Cats give them the support they gave the fans instead of jumping ship .Too much Kool-Aid leads to huge disappointment. Just stick with them. Great win.

Defensive end's contain was terrible. But also the defensive tackles did not show much stuffing capability. They looked unathletic and unschooled. Given the grade of the personnel is a question mark, I look for Akina to install the Double Eagle Flex featuring an extra solid big linebacker.

To be honest, the team came out a bit flat, and same with the crowd. The fans, the team and the FNG-DJ all need to up our collective intensity a bit

Hey Mr Luke, is there a way to send ESPN a message regarding the announcers and that they need to do their homework when it comes to pronouncing the players names correctly? Offensive line? They scored 61 points…dang! The O line played very well.

I agree, that's why I wanted to listen to Brian Jeffries (voice of the Wildcats) on Varsity Network, but U of A is not listed. it looks like the Varsity Network did not know UA left the Pac-12. I then looked up 1290 AM in Tucson, where Jeffries does play by play, I can listen on the TuneIn app. I'll be listening next week vs NAU.
