Great play through… I have questions… 1. The resource tokens you put down on the terrain tokens… when can I pick them up?…and I put them on the Solo Mission board when I do I presume? Why aren’t you interacting with those?

Do you mean the scavenge site tokens? When you place them on the terrain tiles, you are trying to match one of the patterns on the Recon Objective card, which when completed, will provide you with the bonus listed.

I’m loving this game. I was looking through the rules at the stat challenge page 11. From what I have gathered, The stats on the character cards are only indicators of what your challenge cards are made up of. The stat challenges aren’t supposed to include your mind stat , Ranged stat etc from your character card. I noticed when you were foraging that you used the mind stat of 4 from the character card as an automatic success. This character’s challenge cards are buffed by the stat but you still draw a primary card and up to two other cards to take the challenge. If I’m reading this correctly….

@@pedrowayne4675 You are correct. I noted the mistake in the description but have no way of fixing it in the video. Might make a new playthrough at some point.

Nice game, I will try it today. Do you have to make a mind challange with cards like a fight? The mind stat are only to build up your strenghts / weaknesses of the Character deck, right? (Rules, Page 6)

You do, though some characters have a high enough mind stat so you will always pass a mind challenge without having to choose a card to play AND pick a random card. Or sometimes, you can just pick a random card so you don’t exhaust a card.

@@BoardontheFloor Yes, I see ... but in minute 23 you don't draw / exhaust a card and manage a mind test 4+ ... but the data on the character card is not counted as far as I know, because only the info about the strengths and weaknesses of the character in his deck are shown there, and these stats have no meaning after the setup in the actual gameplay. In short, the mind value on the character card is only for orientation about the distribution of the values in the respective deck when selecting the characters at the beginning of the game, but count not during gameplay.

You are 100% correct. I have been doing mind challenges wrong whenever I play. Ha! Though, I'll pretend like it was a house rule to make the game a little easier. :) Thanks for pointing that out.

I've only just played my first game, solo. I couldn't tell I was playing correctly, and eventually had to quit when the doubts stacked up. I'm not impressed by the Rulebook and the not uncommon habit of pushing the solo rules to the outer limits. This greatly disturbed my concentration. I'll type up a replacement with a dedicated solo focus. Thanks for this video.

I agree. It often takes me a couple of playthroughs with the multiplayer rules to understand what they were aiming for with the solo mode.

I don't think you add the stat on your card to the mind challenges. The rules specifically state that the stats are merely representations of how your skill deck and combat cards are set. Please confirm this. For a mond challenge you set a primary and then draw 2 cards. Also you aren't equipping your ranged weapon to use it. You can't change out weapons during combat. I feelblike this needs a complete redo.

@@christopherhoward5164 You are 100% correct in regards to the stats. Which increases the difficulty by quite a bit, as you can imagine. I'll just call the way I do it as an "easy" mode moving forward. And you are also correct with the equipped slots. I played it like all inventory slots counted as equipped. I'm going to add some notes above to clarify things. Thanks for pointing it out.
