They could use it for pseudo-multiclassing, like the righteous one giving Divine Protection from Cleric and the hedonistic one giving Bloodstained Blade But they already went for the stats route, so it could be Magic damage reduction and Buff duration and stuff

Honestly I doubt they'll flesh it out. Druid was the same from test server to release, sure nerfs came finally but I doubt they'll change the way they do things for the new content.

I don't see the difference aside from the flavor text and name between religions if they all give the same buff... if they manage to give "different buffs" for each religion that are NOT direct character stats such as merchant selling price increases by 5~30% or gold discounts on vendor items, etc. Still early days and we will see what the devs can do with this extra feature.

They should have made the descriptions political affiliations, the test server has 99% of players going Solaris, the others just sound either edgy or dumb. @poshypop I just had to at least ask, you know 😭 . It literally is a BIS set with 150 hp, 299ms, 61% mpb, 19 mh(24 with perk), 5 true magical dmg, 34% pdr/ 30%mdr and a spellweaver. Breaks my heart to see it disappear with the wipe 😔

Religion sounds cool but will never work. I hope they all only give luck or else there will be BIS ones and trash ones. On top of that, even if they give the same bonuses, very quickly the most popular one will be discovered again creating a BIS thay all players will funnel into it. Sounds cool on paper, but yeah it will never work
