Don - damn dude, I'll give the subjective 'best vocalist in my lifetime' but it makes me think you've not heard Floor Jansen sing on the Dutch TV show Best Zangers. I love Haley and have since AI and still follow all that's she done. But honestly, Floor can bring her audience literally to tears - to hell with the goosebumps - just check out two of her songs from that show - her duo on "Phantom of the Opera" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pp2mhJagq6mCgK8) and her solo of "Shallow" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2eboZhqlsRssM0). She is the lead singer for the symphonic metal band Nightwish which is not a preferred genre for me. She's a large woman with a dynamic instrument of which she has completely mastered. Hard for me to believe you'd not be familiar with her - It isn't a slight on Haley - she's is also a master of her instrument (I especially appreciate her version of "Blue"). I'll again admit it's subjective - both are fabulous - I've seen Haley with PMJ in 2017 live. I love her. Also if you have not discovered the Russian teen Diana Ankudinova - @14 years, with vocals in English, Russian, French, Spanish & Arabic then check out this cover of the French pop song Derniere Danse (Last Dance) by Indilia (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqjOeaVsfduhq80) - pretty sure you won't be disappointed and by no means comparing her to either Haley or Floor's mastery - she's currently only 17 - but damn if she isn't unique. You should check out the Extra chewing gum commercial where she sings the Elvis Presley song "I Cant' Help Falling in Love". Watch the actual commercial first and then watch the version cutting in and out between the commercial and Haley in the studio. It's nice seeing her, but the full commercial is the way to start IMO.

It was a hot and humid night as she walks onto the stage of the smoky room full of the buzz of people laughing and talking as the band begins to play a sultry intro in the background. The sound is mellow and men begin to lose interest in conversations as she steps up to the microphone. By the end of the first line she has captured the ear of everyone in the room, the pianist glances up quickly to measure the room and catches the manager's crooked smile. By the end of the second line the staff stops moving as everyone is frozen in place by the hypnotic power the singer has over them. A wave of goosebumps spreads out across the audience of both men and woman alike and drinks and cigarettes are forgotten. By the end of the song people have forgotten themselves and like a snap of the fingers, the drop note makes people self aware again. But the soldier drinking alone in the back of the room became aware for the first time since he returned home on the first note she sang. He stands and steps forward. The only movement in the room catches the singer's eye as she looks at the frozen people, he smiles at her and she gives him a look that says, "Get in line buddy."

I absolutely promise the style voice you like you will find in Beth Hart. She is an unbelievable live performer. Tells a story everytime she sings. Has the Graspy voice you love.. She is the best female blues singer out there. She sings from her heart always and touches your soul each time. . Try "Baddest Blues" live in Amsterdam with Joe Bonnemassa Or "I'd Rather go Blind" also Live in Amsterdam with Joe Bonnemassa. Its an Etta James cover. Super reaction AGAIN, but I have only one criticism of your reaction...please give a HUGE shoutout to PMJ Band for their sensational background...oops, spoke too soon, you just did...thanks. I know there are many great female singers, but right now Haley is my favorite solo artist. Want to provide a bit of her background...she began singing with her mom and dad on stage from just a young age. When she audition at American Idol, she was turned down (!), then returned the next year and bowled them over. She finished 3rd on the show that year....then like Pentatonix, she started a KZbin channel and hooked up with PMJ and the rest is history (BTW, she's done performances around the world.) I know you can't do PMJ every reaction, but the next one you do, should be "All About The Bass", which is such pure, pure fun and enjoyment. You will then discover Morgan James on that same video (another SUPERSTAR), along with Ariana Zavala's (daughter of Telly Savalas, the bald cop in early TV detective series...she's a very good and sultry singer, but not the special vocal talent of Haley or Morgan). Well, since you are a new fan of Haley Reinhart from her PMJ performances, let me provide a couple of links to her performing live to a couple of her own arrangements because I have a strong feeling that again, you will be blown away should you elect to react to them, but at the same time, it also highlights what else Haley is capable of doing superbly besides performing with PMJ. The only reason why Haley didn't win American Idol in 2011 is because American Idol permitted power-voting. Had American Idol not permitted power-voting, Haley would have easily won in a landslide because it would have been impossible to rob her of being the winner.
