A lot of fans have respect for him still, but it's the slights at Steph after departure. He's been seen liking tweets undermining Steph, tweets that threw his teammates under the bus, tweets throwing shade at Warriors fans... his decision to leave isn't what left a sour taste for Dubs fans but the sly antics that came after it. Let's not act like he wasn't honest about stuff either, because it definitely went both ways.

Huge Warriors fan. Absolutely love KD, before and after his time with Ws. He balled at GS. This guy absolutely loves the game. @Anna R It's on my list to watch the full interview. Saw the spot where he talked about Harden. KD talked about his time at OKC on JJs show as well. More about just putting his head down and learning/gaining experience. Then towards the end realizing as one of the best in the league he should at least be informed of some of the player decisions. I'm sure that's what was so attractive about Brooklyn. Although I'm not sure he had the last 3 years on his BINGO card. Kind of a disaster.

I am Warriors fan but i will always be grateful for what KD on and off the court for us in the 3 years he was with the Dubs. Don't forget that KD: -Decided to sign with us after the 2016 finals collapse and taking all the flack to join a 73-9 win team, just because he wanted to win more than anything else -Won 2 titles and 2FMVPS (for what the award is worth, i think he was the best player in 2017, and on par with Steph in 2018) -Took a pay cut to make sure Iguodala and Livingston would re sign -Carried the team in 2018 late in the season and at the start of the playoffs with Steph being out injured -Played incredible defense for long stretches, helping the team maintain a high level of rim protection despite losing depth at the center position -Came back during the 2019 finals with an injured calf putting his career in jeopardy when he torn his ACL just to help the team -Helped facilitate the S&T with Brooklyn on his way out that turned into Wiggins and Kuminga I understand being mad because he left something so great to build his own thing somewhere else, but for me KD will always be a Warriors legend

@@brendanbloom3366 they didn't need him. Green was suspended, iggy had back issues, and bogut was hurt. All of those things happened starting game 5 when lebron, kyrie and the whole team started attacking the paint and scoring over 110 points. Curry and klay struggled most of that series. I don't think that was going to happen in 2017.

@@Christopher._M I said they needed him based on the current roster they had. They had already gave up bogut, Barnes, and most the bench when they got Kd. It also took a record 11 3s from Klay for them to make the finals that year. Teams also improve year to year. Cavs would still be a challenge. A healthy spurs were still there. The rockets formed together. Teams were figuring out how to gaurd GS.

I've not heard Steph or Kerr not give KD his props in fornt of the mic. Its definitely media driven. KD pull his weight! and Steph pull his weight too without those points 25 to 30 point they would not have won! both KD & Steph both lost in NBA Finals before they connected, but Steph Curry had 🏆 against LeBron.. the media also said Steph couldn't hit a big shot, KD knows better than that too.. but the media is pushing narratives. the bar seems to be a min of 🏆🏆🏆🏆 for a seat, Shaq4, Kobe5, Duncan5, LeBron4, Majic5, Curry4. Real talk, I hope KD gets there!

As Knicks fan from Monte Carlo : KD, Yes alot ppl in USA wants to see you fail. I know, I know. Doesn't make any sense. But it's true. The sad reality is that they want to see you do good…just don't better than them. Problem is, most people never realize that. So they spend most of their lives thinking they are entitled to something, which is not the case. Nobody owes you anything!! ignore them, distance from them and concentrate on what u r trying to achieve. once you succeed those who wanted you to fail come around to either sabotage or seek favors and i saw this after u won the Olympics, every Media and haters were not really happy saw you win a gold medal.
