The mid credit scene looked like it was the final 3 heading for their final game. I wouldn't have expected they'd give that away and another episode breakdown/ending explained video, suggested that it might be a flashback to when The Frontman won his game and that we are going to get some sort of origin story for him and how he went from a player, to a winner, to running the whole game.

Might be something to the flashback theory because the players shown walking up to the doll are 096, 100, and 353. Player 100 is the older guy who had lots of debt and I'm not convinced it looks like him from behind. That said, I think those 3 numbers were all still left in the game though. Interestingly the murals in their dorm suggest that two of the future games will be some sort of Korean variation of chess/checkers and monkey bars.

My personal prediction: Front man will force Gihun to watch the Squid Game continue. Maybe make him the new front man? The remaining players will continue to play 🥹. I think the big climax will be Junhee giving birth. I feel like there was so much focus on how close she is and everyone supporting her. We know the mom character knows how to deliver. Inho also seemed invested in her by asking if she was ok multiple times. Is he being sincere? Maybe this will remind him of his wife and lead to a change of heart. 🤔 The best theory for the post credits scene I’ve seen is that it’s the next game and it’s the Korean version of London bridge. Where players have to avoid getting stuck between them when the music stops. I loved the season! Thanks for the recaps!

I agree with this. I can see it in my mind plain as day. The final scene could be Gihun putting on the Front Man mask and turning toward a brand new Red Light Green Light game getting ready to start.
